| I'm going to a fancy dress party this weekend and I'm not entirely sure about my makeup. I'm going as a sort of gothic doll type of thing, frilly white petticoat with black skirt over it, black velvet corset, white blouse, patterned stockings/pantyhose, knee high goth boots.
You all know what my hair looks like, and what my face looks like (though if you want a new pic i shall oblige) What should i do with my hair/makeup? I don't have any fake eyelashes unfortunately.
and it's against my morals to wear bright pink lipstick ^.^ I'm thinking a really dark red i have called black cherries or cherry or soemthing. |

| i was thinking porcelain foundation, an apricot blush, and for my lips use my black cherry or whatever its called, but fill in the top lip and just do a stripe on the lower lip, with the rest of the lip nuuude.
and big lashes but not false since i have none |

| I would look at limey's tutorials cause i think she did a couple of doll tutes. and the harlequin tutorial may work for the goth doll look you are going for. |

| You could draw in those teeny little dolly lips with lipliner and fill it in with a nice red lipstick.
Try to emphasize your cupid's bow and pure porcelain skin is a MUST.
Are you sure you can't get your hands on some fake eyelashes? Drugstores have some pretty nice ones for not much money.
Avoid the cat-eye look and go more for an open round eye. Oh and you can add a few eyedrops meant to take away redness to your eyes to make them whiter, sparklier, and more brilliant. Kinda like glass. |

| Yes definitely go for a round eye look! Pale skin, deep red lips, blusher put on more round than usual and round big eyes with big lashes are all you need really. Fakes would be better I think. Some really nicely curled ones. | |

| yay for you!
And I realized that there's lots of help for your makeup but hardly no one mentioned your hair!
So how about going with the classic doll look of pig-tails?
You could curl them for a Lolita look.
Actually lolitas and gothic lolitas pretty much have the dolly look mastered down to a science.
Maybe you could google images of them for further reference??
Also, headbands, bows, ribbons, cute little "sausage curls" look great. |

| Excuse the drawing, i'm not the best artist, and my scanner was being mean so I had to use my digital camera -.-; I was thinking because you didn't have any falsies, the black design could open up your eyes and make your existing lashes look bigger. For your eyelashes you'd probably want 'em curled with two coats of mascara, then line your eyes with pencil or liquid liner and do the fancy smancy designs in shadow -except- the lashes/running makeup/bleeding mascara (eh?!), which would be done in liner. Cheeks - dark red as well as your lips, which would be done doll-like... What do you think? =\ |

| I loved it when Ann did the little circles of pink blush on the apples of her cheeks. It was SO doll-like. |
