The Fifty Book Challenge 2007

I know for some folk this won't be much of a challenge..and I'm starting it a little late..but the idea is to read fifty books in 2007 and keep track of them in here..

anybody up for it?

rawr but ive already read a few books that i havent kept track off!
i doubt i could do 50...but I might get my dad to take me a long to the library tomorrow to have a looksee. im too cheap to buy that many books

oww mee too..i very rarely buy books..its library and borrowing from friends all the way for me..

i cant remember what ive read so far either, so im starting as of yesterday when i finished The Time Travellers Wife

hmm... i havent read a whole lot lately. i feel kinda bad about it. but i'm a really fast reader, and i think i could manage 50 this year. i'd just have trouble remembering to do so.

well my dad's on early shift so he's home at 4 which i can use to my advantage
my goal of the summer was to read a whole lot more. i found two suggestion lists from higher english for personal studies so i might go through those and look.

and im moving this to books missy!

oh i do appologise..i never realised there was a book section..i just saw entertainment and posted there seen as it says "Films, Books, Tv & Celebrities!"

lol i never noticed that. ill change it.
i guess its because i couldnt be bothered doing my own titles and put them in from the old forum where we got books after entertainment.

Only 19 wtf, I thought it was way more than that. Maybe if I stopped reading books that were 500+ pages each I'd get it. Ah well, I still have heaps left of Raymond E Feists hahaha.

i know i re-read all of the harry potter books...but i think im just going to start of from what im reading now.

shoot, I too much of a nerd to put the joystick or DS down long enough to read 50 books in a year.
If I'm lucky I'll probably read about 10 though I am reading one right now about Signature Killers.

teehee im reading a lot now...my ds is out of battery and i cant find my charger :[

well starting as of Saturday, i have read:

1. The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
2. Small Gods by Terry Pratchett

only 48 more to go..

the only two i know for definate ive read and havent read before are the time traveller's wife and girl with the pearl earring...

but im starting from today. well yesterday

grr i hope my dad takes me to the library :] lazyness...and the weather is crap.

its my game and i say it can be ones youve previously read.

cause im gonna read Brave New World next..and ive read that dozens of times before..and i also guarantee that at some point this year i'll re-read Catcher in the Rye and some Jasper Fforde books..cause i never go long before reading them again..

reading a book just gives you someone else's life ^_^

Mmm. Sometimes I get sad when I finish reading a book cos I'm like NAWWWWWWWWW THEY'RE GONE! AND I CAN'T EVEN PRETEND THAT I'M THEM ANYMORE!

And then after a couple of days I get over it

that happened to me over and over with harry potter. I just taught i had years to wait for my next fix and OMG it was bad. And yeah...i need to start readnig regularly again. I just find it hard to pick new books, so i tend to stick to ones by authors i know etc.

Lolz, Raymond E Feist is a sort of an almost awesome writer. I'd never read anything of his until my boyfriend bullied me into reading Magician a few months ago. He's not my favourite, but they're interesting books.

The Krondor ones were a bit shite, though.
