| So you non-UK peeps may not know who he is but I just went to see Derren Brown live in Glasgow and omg THE MAN IS THE DEVIL! I love him on channel 4 but its different on tv because you still think...what am i not seeing but on stage...he's amazing. GAH! For those that dont know him, he describes his act as a mix of magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship. But yup...I thought he was damn awesome. Although I was a little bit scared of catching one of the things he throws out for taking part...although I would have thrust it upon Sammy anyway. Pointlessish post but I dont care! Ooooh he's got me all in the mood for the fringe now! I'm a woman on a mission...we've had back-rowish seats to Jimmy Carr for the past two years and this year I WILL HAVE CLOSE ONES! And I wanna go see a bunch of other stuff. Woop! | |

| Ha, you're in my section, and I don't care if this is pointless. This guy sounds interesting, though.. what was he throwing out into the audience? | |

| aw that sucks. He was...EVIL! lol. Seriously. One thing he did I was like...how the fuck did you just do that?! And I'm a wee bit gullible anyway so even though I know he has all these tricks...I can let myself think he's a wee bit magic Thats more fun anyway! And OMG I know what you mean! I didnt think of it before but was like...Sam...do you think he's kinda sexy? I'm now thinking he's quite lovely :] and yey for being determined about going to the fringe! | |

| I wanna see him one day. I love magic because deep inside I still think it is completely possible for magic to be real. Also I agree with those who think he is rather hot, but I dont trust him at all |

| It's not magic as such... He doesn't claim to be a mind-reader, instead he describes his craft as a mixture of magic, suggestion, psychology, misdirection and showmanship. from his website/the show program (...yup i read it..twice...we got in way early...and it has purdy pictures ) It's not like *poof* rabbit from hat! But he did do one bit...where he was on stage, then ducked behind an easel to "look for a pen" then started moving the easel across the stage, walking behind it, then a gorilla comes out from the other side where he started and takes his head off and it's Derren...that's definately NOT psychology or science And he does have a bit of a magic background, although I agree, he definately is not a magician in the poof-rabbits-wand-type sense of the word. He's also hilariously funny... | |

| I love Derren Brown!!! Did you see the episode of trick of the mind (i think it was that) where there was this arcade game that they rigged to make this guy fall into a trance, then they put him in a room set up to look like the game, and he had like, a gun in his hand, and all these zombies came in and he was clearly shitting himself hahahaa. He was even scared of Derren when he opened the door to get him out at the end! | |

| teehee I saw that. Was good. Trick of Treat was goood. When he made the guy like the puppet and he was blind. Or when the girl saw her own death...would have been going mental. I like how he was sneaky and could turn the cards upside down | |

| I noticed that straight away. I very loudly said 'THOSE ARE THE SAME PICTURE!' as well so noone else had a chance to guess haha. So if he tried to do that to me I'd notice straight away and be like 'Wait, before I pick on can I turn them round like this? Okay, I'm good now' |
