What do you think of the new vocalist?

and she looks a little like Bjork. which isnt negative, i just thought it was funny. she has a fine voice, it doesnt seem as..."rounded" as tarjas, like..its very soprano ish and tarja had the mezzo soprano...ah well, im sure it will be fine. im not disliking her until ive heard the whole cd.

Eva is an okay song, but the samples up on Youtube are much better.

Personally, I love what I've heard. Alllot. Tarja was never 'it' for me with Nightwish, and here Tuomas doesn't disappoint me.

Tbh...I've only heard two nightwish songs...that Nemo one which is ok, I listen to it
And the one I posted in the other topic, with the "misheard" lyrics and I only like that one because of those funny misheard lyrics.

I could see why they'd be appealing if that's your thing...they arent horrible to listen to, just not what Ii would choose.

I've only heard one properly, She Is My Sin. I lurves it! I don't really like their other songs though..

Haha, they're my favourite band. I think the new singer, Annette's, voice might be better suited to them than Tarja's ever was (as much as I loved her voice).

They're so epic. And I adore epic (fits in well with the fantasy books and video games ).

Ghost Love Score is easily my favourite song. Tuomas is a gooood.
