| My new top.. not very exciting, just attacked a cheap strappy top with a permanent marker (will probably wash off anyhow, was just out of boredom more than wanting a new t-shirt..) anyhow, the girl is copied from a drawing by an artist i love, Win Lin. My avatar is drawn by him also..he did three t-shirts for Urban Outfitters last summer, but i think they were a one off thing.. i have one, im wearing it in the photos of me in the "drunken antics" thread if anyone is interested.. but i wanted some more, so figured i'd just make them. im probably breaching a hundred copyright laws but oh well, not like im selling them! | |

| wow. thats amazingly drawn! I wish I could draw people! My people drawings look like the drawings kids do in primary school... heh maybe college will help a little bit. thats awesome tho. you should do your own designs and sell those. | |

| meh..thats the trouble, im good at copying other peoples work..i can draw or paint something that someone else has done and change it slightly to make it mine..but im terrible at my own designs..i see them in my head, but they just never come out.. had i been decent at that part, i wouldnt be doing biology next year, i'd be doing art like yoo *le sigh* | |

| yeh..i could do it at uni or college or whatever..and i would enjoy it very much.. but i don't have the talent to make a career out of it..and as shocking as it is, i do quite like money and my material posessions.. hense im doing science, cause i figure i'll be more likely to get a job at the end of my degree..hopefully.. | |

| origionally i wanted to do pharmacology, but i did go to a neuroscience lecture and really enjoyed myself..i can defer my final honours choice until the start of third year, so im gonna do that and base it on whatever subjects i pick and like in my first years of uni..i'm picking more human subjects than plants and animals though..so deffinetly something humanish.. | |

| rawr thats where I get stuck with doing art...see im not very good at science altho i loved blodge. im not very historical or extremely clever to do something like law. im not very mathematical...I'm only really good at art. and french. but idk what I'm gonna end up doing at the end of art college...I've considered teaching. I considered then laughed at being a primary teacher; I'm bossy enough but intolerant of children. But I think being an arty farty teacher would be ok.
Anyway my point is...what do you wanna do with biology? Because I know a lot of people doing chemistry at uni and some sciencey people are doing pharmacy stuff because they didnt wanna be a doctor but love science...so I wondered what you plan to do as a career? | |

| I have no idea yet. Neuroscience is one of the broadest feilds out there, considering it basically just jams psychology and biology together. I feel like Ill be able to narrow things down when I actually start college in the fall. As of now it just really appeals to me and I think I might be decent at it. | |

| research hopefully.. i hate kids so teaching isnt an option, unless it was a lecturer.. so yeh, some sort of job in research hopefully. if i do decide on pharmacology, my aim will be to work with a major drugs company like astrazeneca or something.. | |

| that is so awesome; I want one! It would be a shame if it does wash off. Maybe you could set it with a light spray of clear spraypaint or something. If you sold these I'd buy one in a heartbeat. |

| i know john lewis and maybe jenners have them. try places where they sell fabric like mandors or something? i dunno if they do but i know the big fabric shop in edinburgh has them... maybe have a look on craftster or something like that to see if theres advice? as long as they write on the type of fabric you're using then ya should be cool. I think you can get some sort of fine pen which might be good for your drawing...im not sure tho. my aunt got people to write on a tshirt for me and it was in fabric pen but it wasnt big felt tip style writing, it was like biro (but it wasnt biro... ) | |
