vanity room!

hey friends. so the 2nd bedroom of the new place is going to be my vanity room. basically, I'd like a *large* vanity table, a large mirror with a vintage frame, a small chair for the vanity table, a side table and a smallish loveseat of sorts.

I already know that I want a malm vanity table. and I'm getting this flip out bin to hold mascaras, liners and the like.

for brush storage, I'm thinking vases with pretty coloured beads/marbles. everything else though, I'm at a loss for. especially when it comes to cute chairs. do you guys have any recommendations? I looked at chairs from UO, but they're overpriced IMO. what do you guys think? what other containers do you think I'd need to organize?

EDIT: I'm also getting this acrylic case, maybe 2 of them.

chairs are so much fun! you can always look at thrift stores/garage sales for one, and if you don't happen to like the fabric you can always reupholster it for pretty cheap. All it takes is fabric you like, a staple gun (which i'm sure you could borrow from someone), some scissors and needle nose pliers (for pulling out the old staples). I usually llike stuff from Pier One Imports too, but I'll start scoping out some places online so I can give you links. :]

dude. you rock. I didn't even think of Pier One. I'm hoping to find a chair for less than $100 and a small sofa for less than $200. I found a very simple couch (it turns into a bed, great for when his parents visit): here it is. And I like this chair.

I'm pretty sure Joe wouldn't mind picking up the vanity table for me at the IKEA in Houston or Dallas. I would prefer to order a loveseat and chair online, though, if I can't find cute ones locally.

I also found a cute pencil holder that could work for brushes: right here. I think I like the idea of simple glass vases with beads better, though.

I like to use vintage pyrex and other dishware to keep things in, i really want one of those vintage vanity trays with the mirrored bottom...thrift stores are your friends!!!!

...just remembered some cute, simple little vases I saw at walmart. I will have to go back!

puff, this room will be fantassssstic for you!! i love love love that vanity from IKEA... i want it! i think the vases with little colored beads is a really simple yet good idea for brushes - it's pretty, too! you should get some really awesome lights from IKEA, too. lighting is everyyything in my opinion! i'm excited for you to have this space and make it pretty and make your face pretty yaaay

Forever21 has some cute storage things. They're all baroque style, and pretty cheap!
