| I had a look at the line yesterday and wasn't wholly impressed. The packaging is actually quite nice - its matte, silky and substantial. The prices are okay, but only okay considering theyre basically a drugstore brand. I mean, £5 for a nailvarnish is a bit steep. Pigmentation of the eyeshadows was pretty average, the white/grey combo was awful. Lippies were quite synthetic - ergh, and really limited in colour. Lip balms were a bit icky. Blushes were nice though!
I was hoping to pick up a couple of shadow duos, balm and the "nude" lipstick (v orange though) but ended up only buying a matte top coat for my nails... it's great though! a lot cheaper than china glaze matte magic too. i liiikee!

| i got the lipsticks in brighton rock and rio rio. ive yet to try rio rio but i LOVE brighton rock. it went on quite bright at first but settled down and seemed less garish. I put it on this evening at about 6 and it lasted throughout snacking, burlesque class and dinner. I did use liner underneath though.
I got the lip sticks which are like crayons. i got them in flame and rosa. i really like them! the colours are nice, they went on well and it was a really nice idea having a chunky pencil to apply with. i think its a great idea.
i got the lip polish in rhubard aaaaand another colour - one of the reds. i really like it as a more subtle colour.
again - i like the packaging. it looks simple but its quite cute and i think it fits the topshop brand. i like how the polishes have a tiny mirror in the lid for applying it. I guess it is a tiny bit overpriced (i'm used to boots 17 £3 for a lipstick type of stuff) but it isn't too horrendous.

| ok so like most things topshop - im addicted!!
ive been wearing their lipstick - brighton rock all week and i love it.
ok so just to show you all, i've bought -
eye crayon in black jack
I played around with this earlier a little bit. I lined my eye with it as you would eyeliner and it looked ok. I also put it all over my lid and smudged it a bit for a quick smokey look - like in the video I posted last time. Any other ideas? It's really nice but when I tested it, it smudged really easily so I think it would need a primer and it might stick then.
crayon in moonshine
So I have no idea what to do with this or anything but I fell in love. I swatched it on the back of my hand it it's amazing. It smudged a little but still stuck really well. After working all night in the bar and washing my hands - it was still there after aaaaages. Also it caught the sun and had all of these other colours in it and looked amazing. But fuck if I know how to wear it!
I bought lipsticks in rio rio and brighton rock
and I love them! Rio is just reddish and well I love red lipstick but I'm in love with brighton rock. It went on really bright and I was like shit no. but then it settled and it looks really nice!
I have the lip crayons in rosa, flame and vintage
and I love them! Its such a nice way to put on lipstick! I like rosa, as its like brighton rock but a bit brighter - the website pictures dont look the same. vintage is so nice tho! I wore it today and it's kind of pale without being too pale that it looks stupid.
I got polishes in [urhttp://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=20&viewAllFlag=false&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=206989&parent_category_rn=206987&productId=1627691&langId=-1]rhubarb[/url] and coral which are nice because i hate wearing lip gloss but they give that more subtle colour.
and finally i got this - lip and cheek tint in bitten berry
it looked like fake blood when i tested it but blended in and looked really nice when i smudged it in. i havent worn it properly yet. bit scared to try it on my cheeks.
OH and i tested the blushers - they're cream/creme but when you blend them in, they go like powder and they seemed pretty nice.
gah ive spent a lot on this stuff but ive worn it all! i love it!

| ach. im addicted. i bought the kohl pencils in a blue and a petrol green. i love them. i got the mascara and eyeliner pen too and love them.
but my favourite thing. i bought the nail polish! i got gypsy night which is a black colour with glitter in it. but its not typical glitter...theres like bits of copper coloured bits in it and its not thick. i put a base of black underneath which worked better. i also got stolen sapphires which is a navy blue colour. usually my nails chip after about a day - especially so when im at work taking money in and out of the till. but nope. this lasted all week.
