Does a sex change count as a body modification?

I would say so.

Are girls accepted as girls on these boards if they had a pretty messed up past and started out as guys in real life but had a complete sex change to fix things? I mean, some people are assholes so I figured I'd ask before getting invested in another thread.

Absolutely not, Pixie, you shouldn't hesitate to be part of our forum for that reason at all! Like Lil said, I think all the girls here are incredibly open and laidback - not at all the kinds of people who would "hate" you for being different. I'm quite interested, myself.

Well, I used to hate myself for sooooo long, forever really. I was always a very feminine person, a complete girl but born with a penis. I played with barbie dolls and was obsessed with babysitters club. All my friends were girls because I was really a girl, on the inside anyway. I just looked very much like a boy.

Then three years ago I had a breakdown, I didn't want to be a guy. Didn't want to look like a guy. I was a girl, why would any girl want to look like a hideous guy? Ew.

So after my breakdown I went on hormones. My psychiatrist told me to, I saw tons of psychiatrists. They all said I was really a girl, just born in a boy body. So they put me on hormones to change my body.

Now three years later I have boobs, a really sexy figure and am a really pretty girl. I'm also obsessed with Bette Davis, a 1940s star. She is so beautiful and gorgeous.

Two months ago I had the complete sex change, the operation. So now I have a vagina and am a complete girl now. I'm 24 which is older than most users here, but I'm really just mentally 17 because of the hormones making me start puberty again.

It really sucked, my past, but I'm really really happy now. I just don't want anyone to think of me as a weirdo or not really a girl. Because I am, and could use having a few friends. The world gets lonely sometimes. Sometimes I want to cry or die because of my start in life.

I also don't know who I'm attracted to... guys or girls. I don't think I'm lesbian though, maybe bissexual.

Am I allowed on these boards? Would I be welcome? I'm a pretty nice girl who likes making friends and helping people out. You couldn't tell I used to be a boy by looking at my pics now.

I can almost guarantee you that nobody around here cares that you've had a sex change. We're all really accepting of all types of people.

But do you all still count me as a girl? I could use friends. How old are most people here? I'm 24 is that too old?

If you identify yourself as a girl, then you're a girl! Most of us range from 16-26, though I think someone's like 28/29 around here. Don't worry, you'll fit right in!

Hello, gonna go all forum bitch but not being funny, if anyone on this forum dared be horrible to you because of a sex change or anything in your past, then they'd have me to contend with and any of the rest of them can tell you - they dont want that.

if anyone did have an issue, they can do it off the forum and shut up on here.

i would seriously kill anyone who dared be pissy with someone because of their history.

we dont just accept females on here, we have had guys in the past but we are generally a very female board. and you are female. there's no question of that.

if you do have any problems, which i doubt because i dont think anyone on here would do that, but message me and ill get it sorted.

Pixie, I admire your brave for telling this bunch of unknown girls your story and open your heart out. It doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl.. braveness is not common in these days.

About the age.. Age is not really an important issue here. I'm 23, so i think i'm in the eldest group. Also, i'm kinda new in the forums and everyone had treat me really well since the beginning. And what's more, as you could maybe notice, i'm not an native english speaker and the girls accept me with my gigantic and awful gramatical mistakes-- do you really think someone here could hate you? of course not!!
