| What do you all recommend for putting in your hair before straightening? I use this loreal cream stuff, and it's good, my hair doesn't fry, but I want something more runny because my hair is very foofy and frizzy after I straighten. (maybe not straight after, but the next day, if it's looking a bit strange, running the straighteners over a few times doesn't help, it makes it worse.)
So basically I need something that's gunna make it smoother and shinier. If you've used something that made your hair greasy, tell me, cus it'd probably work for me.
Also for when my hair's curly, anyone know any hair styling products that will define waves and curls well? I don't mind if it weighs it down a bit. That works better for me. A bit of sheen would be good too.

| oooh! YY makes excellent hair products.
For shine I recommend this:
https://www.y-y.com/displayProductDocument.hg?productId=29&categoryId=12
I think you have to order it though....since I dont know if any hair places near you carry it. It works with straight or shiny hair, a pomede would probably work well too.

| CHI silk infusion. Amazing stuff. And if your straightner makes your hair worse, then you need to invest in a new one. Probally a big CHI would be good for you. Are you using a cheapo metal one? |

| Girlies in the UK, is the thermal protection serum (the frizz ease one) available here? I couldn't find it on ciao.co.uk. I could find some serums but they didnt say heat protection so i'm assuming you can't use them with straighteners.. Might have to try that Fructis stuff, I used to use fructis conditioner so it should be worth a shot.
Edit: On The Times site it says that Frizz Ease's thermal protection serum is launching in the UK soon so woot. ^__^

| Frizz Ease has loads of products here. Go to somewhere like boots rather than a price comparison site...you're more likely to find out.
Even if they dont have that one, they have a bunch of other ones which you might be able to use. Don't rely on websites. Go into shops; boots, local chemists, superdrug, tesco, sainsbury...the web wont tell you what they stock.
