| Acen was this weekend, and since mom can't drive yet, if I didn't go she and my sister couldn't. I didn't feel like enduring the masses of screaming anime fans on Saturday, so I sat in the hotel room and made myself a new outfit.  The bottom edges of the corset don't match up, so I'm going to be removing the binding from the hem and trim it. While I'm doing that, I'll likely stitch more boning channels, too, and add more support. Hopefully that will help reduce the wrinkling around the waist, but I might have made it too long-waisted for myself. Maybe I'll sell it? It meets up in the back, anyway, and only cinches me three or so inches. I can do better than that. | |

I had most of the pieces cut out to be put together Saturday, but putting it all together... I did a very little bit Friday night, maybe an hour, then I woke up Saturday around 7:30 and worked on it until about 6? Though I lost a half an hour because one of the guys in my shadowcast pestered me to come meet his little sister. Lil, I'll get you the measurements as soon as I can.. I'm in about 18 kinds of pain at the moment, and can't really go lace myself in, and I doubt mom would want to. Unlaced in, I'm 37-28-36, and I think the corset takes maybe three inches off my waist? I'll have to check to be sure. I dunno what I would charge yet, have to add in all my materials and time. | |
