| I have shoulder length hair with a soft perm/body wave, so it's pretty curly. However for work i have to wear it up, not half up half down, totally up, and with as little hair in the face as possible. I want some simple but pretty ideas i can throw together in the morning, and i any of them are vintage inspired that'd be great  I'm not really into headbans or like sparkly hairclips or what have you, the more classic/classy the better | |

| what i liked to do when my hair was longer, was like make it was wavy/curly as i could, and then i'd just use kirby grips to shove it all up on one side, so that it was all up off my face but with like littlw curled tendrils falling down, then you can put a cute clip in the back and it tends to look quite pro!
also, learning how to do a french pleat can be hard but i know people who can do them in super sonic time now and they look so elegant!! you'll need to practice but they look stunning. | |

| ohh i can do the braids... but what's a kirby grip? would my hair be completely up if i did that? we're not meant to have it hanging down  | |

Have you ever watched any of "Ilovegerados" videos?? Shes the hair queen and has some really pretty pin up updos. The ones i've watched are all kinda complicated, but she's got a section on easy ones too. Check them ou t:)

| yeahh just like, the little wavy bits of wire. i used to twist all my hair up in them, so it was completely up. | |
