| The Dainty Doll line will be discontinued on the 28th this month, so if you've been wanting to try the line or need to stock up, do so now... | |

| Aww man, why they discontinuing it? That blows I love my DD.
This new makeup site was mentioned in this months Glamour:
http://www.illamasqua.com/
Its pretty pricey but looks like some seriously cool stuff. I love the whole edgy fantasy look they've got going on. Also some of the money on the S.O.P.H.I.E range goes towards the Sophie Lancaster foundation (the girl who was killed for being a goth a year or so ago)

| Not really sure. I guess it isn't doing so well. Make sure you stock up before they disconinue it, and then check websites for sales afterwards. Neat brand you posted. I'm interested in their primers and the SOPHIE quad. I like that you can pick any colours you like. I'd end up getting a bunch and switching the colours every so often. I'm also interested in their eyebrow cake (finally, a brow product in BLACK). I like that they have a wide range of shades for everything, from their bases to blushers and shadows. I wish I could review for the blog And, OT; I read some stuff about Sophie and her story is tragic and unjust... | |

| Yeah I know its so horrible her an her boyfriend were attacked just for looking different. It happens so often here. I guess it happens in alot of places.
They better open a store in Glasgow soon. I wouldn't feel confident spending that sort of money on foundation when you can't see what it looks like on skin. The site has really good tutorials too.

| Wow, nice stuff in there! Good range of colours. Of course, currency conversion means the lipsticks will be about NZ$50-55 so I won't be getting any... but they do look very nice. | |

| Illamasqua is now available at Sephora.com. Just this past month bloggers went all ape-shit over them, so their demand in the US rose dramatically. They even have a blog now (with very bitchin swatches). Go go Illamasqua.

| tokidoki at sephora!! what????
everything is so attractive and colorful and fun looking! http://sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=tokidoki
i saw it when I went last week and got really excited! everything looks decent, I especially oooooooooh-ed at the glitter eye pencils, they were surprisingly creamy and suuuper vibrant and the glitter was excellent. only thing I didn't like very much was the packaging for the single eyeshadows. they look really nice, but they're annoying to open. like, you have to stick your nail in to get it.
also really liked the Perfetto Eyeliner pens (for eyeliner, or temporary tattoos!) and Lip Stain markers... the lipgloss looks good enough (they've got a blue and a green shade.. interesting! haha but it's verrry sheer) but the wands are weird =/ they're like, plastic spatulas? idk, turned me off a bit.
mixed feelings, but mostly excitement!
also got to see the TARINA TARANTINO stuff! http://sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=TARINA%20TARANTINO&categoryId=B10
what really excited me was the Sparklicity Shimmer Dust, ITS SO SHINY and wonderful!! The packaging is perfect because you dont get your hands dirty, the burst of fairy dust falls right on your skin evenly.
Everything else was pretty but also pretty mediocre, except the "Fashion Collection" sets: Lipgloss, lipgloss ring and eyeshadow all in the same shade and the packaging is very cute! they've got yellow, orange, pink, purple and lime. The primer also piques my curiosity (sephora marks it as the top seller...)
what do you girls think??

| yes, in Asia most brands have lip gloss applicators with plastic little paddles instead of brushes - that's why Tokidoki took that route. | |
