| long time no see! i hope everyone's doing well.  I need some hair advice, and I figured what better place to get it than the cupcake mafia. I am in DESPERATE need of a haircut- I haven't even gotten a trim in about six months. My dilemma is this: I like my long hair. Other people like my long hair. But I kind of want a fun haircut. This is my hair when straightened:  And then curly:  I prefer the long hair for when it's curly, but I can't help but think I could look kinda cute with shorter straight hair. I might just keep it the same length it is, but get more layers cut into it. What do you guys think? I would love to see pics of cute haircuts if you got em. (Also, what's been going on in all of your lives?) | |

| dark hair, really? hmmm. This is the first time since I was a kid that my hair's been blonde, and I kinda like it. But I don't know! And I'm never going to be brave enough to do an asymmetrical. o.o I found these cuts. One's just kind of my length with more layers, and then the other is really short but super cute.   | |

| I was about so suggest something similar to your second picture [you may want to put it in a spoiler!!], with that same damn colour: short, mid-neck length, with a warm, chocolately colour. I think that the blonde is washing your skintone out a bit, and a nice, warm brown will look damn hot. and totally off topic, but I've missed seeing you around here! its so awesome to see you posting again.   | |

| aw, thanks guys. i'm in love with that 2nd pic, and i even changed my nose piercing a while ago so i have a ring now.
do you think the back is all one layer, and then teeny tiny layers at the bottom, or a bunch of layers? i dont think that makes sense. | |

| OH, you mean if the layers are gradual in the back? from long up top and then shorter and shorter underneath [or vice versa]? probably so! you may want to leave that up to your hair dresser tho.  | |
