| That is going to be awesome! Will it lace up? I love the sleeves, and yes 2 peice sleeves are stupid, and honestly why do they have to be 2 peices in the first place?
And awww....I feel special..

| I was thinking it'll have a clasp closure if any, but I love the lacing idea! Currently it's residing in the bolero state. And you should feel special, I wear that necklace pretty much daily! | |

| I have a silver one somewhere around here that I had gotten intending to make a cloak, but it might be just the thing this jacket needs. | |

| Aw, thanks Kayla! I kinda wanted it to go over the black corset that I still have to make.
Kate, do you think our to-be-made lists will ever get smaller instead of bigger?

| I thought you'd approve! I got the pack with two of them, and semi-matching buttons that have little coats of arms and I think I got the ones that say 'honor.' Which is hilarious, considering it's a pirate jacket. | |

| I love those kinds of clasps! I made a coat for second year fashion with 4 sets, which were kinda similar to those. Ahhhh, jackets, something I vow never to do again! | |

| Well, the one I made for school was more like a coat, and it had 24 peices, because we were being graded on different elements the pattern had to be perfect, so I had to trace out the 24 peices with 3/8" S.A, them all again for interfacing with 1/4" S.A, then again for lining with 1/2" S.A. I think the pattern took me maybe 10 hours to trace out. It was evil! | |
