| I used it on my legs today. Left it on for the max amount of time (10 mins), washed it off.. a lot of hair came off, but some stayed. But the hair that didn't wash off has been dissolved, cus if I try and get it off (rub, pull, whatever) it does come off. So it's not like it didn't work on all of it, which I know happens to some people.. I can't shave it off cus it Is dissolved, it's not rooted down.. (I tried shaving it. Didn't work). Fan bloody tastic. Maybe it's a good thing Cat hasn't called about swimming >_<
I've used it once before and didn't have this trouble.. maybe like one or two hairs but not a load.
I'm really put off using it again now. Is it really that bad to leave it on longer than ten mins? I could just wash it off really quickly if I get any itchiness at all couldn't I?

| Yea I got some really bad burns from Nair too, it left me bleeding, and I only had it on for like 10-12 minutes. | |

| We already have a topic on Nair and Veet, will merge in a bit cos I'm about to eat lunch. I find Veet to be superior because it actually gets ALL of the hair off of my skin in at least 6 minutes [which is the max time anyways, but you could leave it on for maybe 2 more minutes]. The formula is nice and thick, and if you apply it evenly, you'll get great results. Nair has always been very irritating on my skin, so I don't use it anymore. My skin is extremely sensitive now, so I have to be careful with what I use. | |

| I don't get any itchiness/irritated skin or anything, just don't understand why some hairs have just sorta stayed in place even though they're dissolved. I probably didn't apply it thick enough. See it was a little sample packet so I was worried I'd run out mid calf if I used too much : P
I haven't got enough of the sample left for one leg even, so I think I'll buy Veet soon. Maybe the one with the little "razor" thing, so the hair actually comes off!

| Eh, the "razors" aren't that special. Usually if I try to use it, afterwards I'll use a towel to get anything I may have missed. The kind that you wear in the shower is really good, from what I've heard. | |

| Ah, probably won't try the razor one then. Which one do you use? | |

| have any of you heard of this stuff called Magic Powder? It's a hair removal cream, sort of like Nair and Veet but it was intended for black men's beards so it's like especially amazing on thick/coarse hair and in-growns..
i really need to try this out!! I've read up on it online and a lot of women use it on their nether regions if you know what i mean and underarms, etc, but i guess it would be fine on legs too.. anyway I'm going to try and get my hands on some because i hate nair/veet because i find the hair grows back too fast and this one should be good for that.
EXCITED. | |
