| Katie's friend drew out my logo, but she'd made it a perfect square, and I was thinking I'd want a version of it for a signature, which is almost always going to be rectangular. I can't figure out how to resize it with the lack of Photoshop-like programs without it coming out massively distorted. Am I just shit outta luck with this one? | |

| Is it quite big? If it's big enough that when you resize it you'll be making it smaller rather than bigger, then it should be fine in MS Word (possibly better setting text wrapping to Square). Here's an example using your icon.. hasn't gone weird looking at all really | |

| that picture has gone pretty weird looking actually. if you look at her hand and stuff.
can't you speak to the girl and say to her how much you like it but you'd like one for using like this and see if she could draw it like that? it probably wouldn't take much for her to do.
if you try to resize it while its a perfect square then yeh it probably will end up looking weird and you obviously want to look as professional as possible.

| Oh yeah I know it's been squished, cus that's what making it smaller does. I meant it's not fuzzy or pixelated (went fuzzy AND pixelated with another program I tried it in)
But yeah if it's got lettering and stuff that looks strange compressed into a rectangle, deff go with what Kiki said.
Edit: I tried a few different logos on word, some look strange and some don't, so I guess it's a lucky dip with this one

| I've handed the logo back to Katie to screw with.. and I think what she's decided we're doing is she's going to resize the square evenly, then add a rectangle to the side with the name that'll match the background sky on the logo. | |

| Is there a specific height and width you want us to not exceed, Kiki? I looked briefly yesterday and didn't find anything.. | |
