Little Red
I'm lost in this forest of hate
Forever doomed to wander
Lonely and forgotten, I loose my cape
Stepping forward to meet my fate
Acting braver than I feel.
My sleeping mind becomes my prey
It feasts upon my hopes and dreams
To ensure total loss, a stranger joins
Wolfing down the essence of my mind
Craving more, starving upon completion
Can't he see there's nothing left?
Somewhere through these woods, a glow
Golden haze a wondrous sight
My soul emptier than darkest death
I wish to see the red of dawn
But still find only my bleeding heart | |
