| As a ZERO when it comes to makeup, I'm asking for an illumination or so, if you feel like being my messie I welcome you XD
I've been reading some topics and you really are into the MAC collections, products I've never used before but there seems to be a large choice. Right now I'm just using a bit of khôl, mascara and a shade of wine as eye shadow. I try to have a bit more colors by using a sun something on my cheeks and a gloss on my lips. But I would like to change a bit the colors I'm using, it's a bit drear. I'm not sure of what to use and how, and there are so many colors I like but that won't match my eyes color... Total despair here.
What would you recommand me? knowing I would like to accentuate the eyes.

| Just play around with colors that you like! It's hard to find a color that doesn't 'match' your eye color. Check out the Makeup thread, and maybe try to copy some of the looks you like! | |

| I suggest looking into purples and pinks. Maybe greens. Idk. Just play around. I usually just get colors that I think are really pretty! | |

| I think there is a palet of purple or pink home, I'll see what I can do with them^^
do you have tips to put eye liner? Mine is liquid and it's messy when I try to wear some. |

| Liquid liner takes a steady hand. I suggest you line your eyes with pencil first, then trace over it with the liquid liner. As far as eyeshadow colors, lavenders, greens, and bronzes would look especially good on you, but you can wear just about anything as long as you pair it with the right makeup. |

| Actually what do you use?? 'Cause right now I've that thing (n°1) and it's not really handy/practical (not sure of the word but it's messy when I try to make a line XD) |

| Maybe it's slightly too soft for you. Softness is good, but when it's too much it just goes everywhere. Have you tried doing your liner at a table so you can rest your elbow on something? That's how I started out. Really, it just takes practice.
As for eyeshadow, I agree with Jaime, just go for what colours you like. It's generally a good idea to stay away from yellow and orange if you're not too confident, though, they're harder colours to work with. A good place to start - gold and green, they look good on everyone. Especially if it's a slightly olive green. | |

| If you have a creamy eyeshadow (or sort of, it's not powdery but not very creamy), what do you use to put it on your eyelid?
And how do you make it stay on you eyelid?XD 'Cause it's good while your eyes are closed but after it's getting in the little wrinkles...
Edit : Btw, green and rose look good togerther, thanks for you advices! |

| well just make sure you put a base underneath your eyeshadow, so that it doesn't crease (I think thats what you meant?) I really like MAC paint pots, and apparently Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) is outstanding but I have yet to try it... and i've never used a creamy type shadow in my life because it's too weird for me so unfortunately I'm no help there | |

| yep probably the base, I'll try to fix next time XD Actually I don't use creamy eyeshadow either so for now I just did it with my finger (gosh with long nails are a bother here) but it's not to bad for a first time |

| People usually use the creamier eyeshadows as a base. | |

| You could use the green creme shadow as a base for a green shadow? Creme shadows come in all sorts of colors. | |
