Bring me the head.. - Updated - Bunny's done!

of the cutest bunny alive! Actually, I'm just working on accessories for a convention in September(how do I keep getting roped into these things??), where my sister has decided I'm going to be dressed up as Tohru from Fruits Basket.

But the premise of Fruits Basket is that thirteen members of a family are..not haunted, really, but I'm brain dead right now so that'll have to do--by the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac, and the cat, who wants to be part of the zodiac. If any of these people are hugged by a member of the opposite sex, they transform into their animal. I'll be making stuffies of a cat, a rat, and this bunny to carry around, because they're closest to Tohru.

I'll update this as I go. Momiji will be a purse, and Kyo(the cat) and Yuki(the rat) will just be stuffed animals.

I just have to add his arms and attach the head and he's done! I think this one will go to my co-worker's daughter, and the next one I make will be for my costume and will be a little different.

I love that you girls all love this.. so did Amanda, and she was super excited about the presents I put in: a 'lucky' penny, a dollar bill folded into a ring, and a pack of sparkly colored pens. She said her daughter will love it, then proceeded to show everyone around, even customers, and everyone thought it was adorable, and could hardly believe I'd made it. My sister wants one, her friend commissioned one, my friend Mary wants a bird, and Amanda commissioned a teddy bear for her son. That leads me to my next topic...

If you girls really want one, let me know! I'd be thrilled to start selling these. Post either here or via PM(preferred, so I can keep better track), and we'll talk about whether you want custom colors, or colors that I'll pick, and once I've got the supplies we'll talk price and shipping. The wilder colors won't be terrycloth like this one, but I think fleece will be a much snugglier alternative, and the effect will be very similar.
