| I saw some bright blue ones on the billabong website...
and wear them with like, white and grey! no black, because that's what makes you look emo. I'd wear them with like a white racer back vest a flip flops if i were to get some! make them look a bit casual. of course you really just have to mix it into your own style i suppose.

| Grrr I know that there's a shop I went to where they had red, and bright blue, and purple and loadss of colours but I can't remember what it is.. It might have been H&M but I'm not sure if you have that and their website doesn't sell stuff I don't think.
My old spanish teacher has bright turquoise, I'd ask her but she'd think I was making fun of her : P

| American Apparel?? Also - Delia's has some nice blue, purple, and red ones. Also, I always love grey... especially like, purple-ish grey. It's a little plain (not BRIGHT colors, like you asked..) but they're classy and can be dressed up or down. Most places sell them - like Levi's or H&M or Delia's or... yeeah.. | |

| gotta say - fucking watch if you are considering ordering online from Delia's.
I tried to order from them, the site would crash when we put the details in and such and then when we got to put in card details, it would tell us the card details didnt match the address and stuff and so we couldnt do the order, but the credit card company phoned and told us that they had tried to take the money from the card anyway. we wouldnt have known otherwise but we did it like...10 times on my dads cards and 3 on one of my mums. thankfully they thought it was odd so didnt let them take it.
so be careful if youre considering them.

| Yeeah, with Delia's, you really have to try stuff on. ESPECIALLY their pants. That's what I think, at least... I don't trust catalogue and online shopping for pants... | |

| American Apparel is good when you need it, for either the plain boring every day stuff (overpriced) OR for the INSAAANE crazy stuff... but it's like, not as good as people make it out to be. I don't know. I like it when I need it... | |

| its ridiculously overpriced!
well here it is at least.
i want that...shiny metallic ice skating dress which is like £30 ($60ish) which is...ok i suppose, not ridiculous but not wonderful. but a pair of pants were like £20! ($40ish) which is ridiculous.
i was like woooooah.
in america, its $50...which ok is only like £5 less for me but its still annoying.

| Yeah. It's super expensive. I mean, alot of that is due to the whole no sweat shop thing... but STILL! Just a pair of tights was like, close to $15. That seems a little rediculous... | |

| Yeah, the tights I got are just like, thin and flimsy opaque white ones... I mean, they're nice, but still...
And Jess... they're more targeted towards like, indie people. Like, totally out there fashion. I mean, they DO have polos and all that.. but I think you might be thinking of American Eagle? THAT store is very very preppy and.. for 8th grade preps.
The thing that bothers me most about American Apparel is that the people who work in the store are all VERY judgemental. If you walk in wearing the "wrong thing" they're all assholes to you. Ugh. It steers me away from shopping there..
