| so at the end of english we have like 5 min to do wahtever so i started reading one of the books && then accidentally took it home for the weeekend it was such a good boook has anyone read it? i'll put the basic plot in a spoiler incase it spoils iittt - Spoiler:
basically a girl starts highschool with everyone hating her including her old friends but you dont know why apparently its something that happened at a party through out the boook you see her becoming more & more depressed later its told that she phoned the cops at the party but still no reason why it happened [by this point its easy to figure out what happened]
she makes friends with a new kid who ditches her cause she doesnt want to be seen with her, but still expects help
a boy in her science class likes her
oh snap, she was raped at the party & didnt know what to do cause she was drunk, so thats why she called the cops
she tells her ex best friend cause shes dating the guy her friend believes her until she says who did it then screams about how shes just jealous
end of boook the girl gets cornered by the same guy but this time fights back people hear & come running everyone knows what happened shes a hero

| I read it back in eighth grade, and loved it. I don't know how I'd feel if I read it now. | |

| i didnt not like it as such...there was just something about it that i didnt get on with.
It's from 2001 so I possibly read it right as I started high school, so maybe its just that my reading tastes have matured a bit more since then...
I remember reading it, not thinking it was terrible; I didn't not enjoy it but I don't think it was something I would have gone back and read again. Wasnt hugely wonderful. I think if I'd read it any other time than when I was 13, I would've disliked it more. | |
