Pomps and Curling Empty
PostSubject: Pomps and Curling   Pomps and Curling EmptySun Mar 09, 2008 1:48 pm

Any tips on doing a pomp? I tried and it came out crappy.

See, my straight bit of hair at the front seems like it's only gunna go curly by growing out. Must've been really badly heat damaged Sad
My hair looks so much better with it out of the way, so any tips on doing pomps or other neato ways of getting the front of your hair out of the way would be fantastic.

Also, I've tried curling it with straighteners, but the curl comes out too big, plus I don't really wanna cause more damage.. I kinda tried pin curls yesterday but it was soo springy and short and looked crap.
So my second request is ways of curling it that are similar to my real curls.. (Read as: that don't spring up all the way to my forehead.. >_< )

Have you tried bendy rollers or rag rolling? Something like this...

I'm not great on pomps, sometimes they look good on me, sometimes not... it's kind of hit and miss!!

I found it! Thankies

I tried a pomp today and I'm not fabulous at it but I'm sure I'll get better.

I'm definitely going to try different curling methods too (rag curling's next one on my list, thanks Beb) cus I really don't want to pin up my fringe every day.. Blah it's so annoying cus my curls look 10x better with the stupid straightness out of the way!

EDIT: Looked at the tutorial and JEEBUS! I gotta get me some of that Got2Be hairspray!
