Wedding

Ok my Cousin is going to get married and I have no Idea what to do with my hair or makeup. With the Makeup I thougt about something Babypink or maybe something more darker, maybe purple.
I'm going to wear a black Dress I think.
Help please

I was just guessing the same 'cause i have a wedding party tomorrow

If i were you, i would go with pink but just if i wear red or pink accesories.. like a necklace, high heel shoes
And the same with other colours
If you don't want colourful accesories, you should go with dark purple or black

what about nude but brighty colours?

Really? I didn't know that! But the Skirt got white Stripes so it's not only black. I think my mum I going to wear black too.

Actually, its not unlucky now days to wear black at weddings and white at funerals.

Its actually a good thing. Especially the white at funeral because it means purity so its a way to have purity when you die, and black at a wedding can mean like, Hope you have a good life together.

i'd check before wearing black because some people find it rude at weddings, but as Carina said most people dont mind nowadays, especially if you wear bright accessories.
For your hair, if its long maybe like half up and a bit curly? also depends on what your dress is like though.

I reckon pinky eyeshadows and nude lips.

And hair... half up half down, sorta curly? Or in a cute low bun?

Black is fine for weddings, as long as you don't look like you're going to a funeral (nice, bright accessories or pastels can help that).

It used to be that brides wore blue, because it symbolized purity. White dresses for weddings were introduced with Queen Victoria in 1840. It's actually a WORSE idea to wear white or off white to a wedding because it can be perceived as trying to "take away attention from the bride".

White actually symbolizes death in some Asian countries, and is forbidden to be worn at weddings.

yeah... its not rude to wear black (or any color) to a wedding. you might not want to wear a fancy white dress though, lol. no stealing the bride's thunder!! what is your coloring? (hair color, skin tone) i think gold, champagnes..etc., always look fresh but exciting... especially nice for an occasion like a wedding!

at the moment my hair is red(but I'm think of going back to my natural color, it's a very light brown) and my skin is very light.

I have got a nice necklace with pin flowers on it, I think thats but be perfect.

Actually.. many women (not only in Arg) wear it 'cause it's classic and very versatile..


6 out of a group of 11 wore black for the wedding I attend last Sat.. Of course, it was at night
2 of them are identical twins... silly girls wore almost the same dress Cx

And, as Shauna mentioned, it's unlucky to wear white, sp because you are stealing the attention from the bride
Luckily, my friend wore a champagne colour dress because she already has a baby, so everyone could wear white if she wanted to
