| Does anyone on here read any comics or graphic novels or anything? Just wondered. The boy's a big comic guy and he's given me a couple of book things that have "first episode" type things of new comics that had come out so there's 5-6 in the book. I've read the first of Y the Last Man which I liked and will borrow more of. And the one I reeeeeally like is Fables by Bill Willingham. It's so good! It's like fairytale things like Snow White and stuff but different. I really liked it. The one I've read is 1001 Nights of Snowfall and the first of "Legends in Exile" one. Soooo...anyone else? | |

| I've read most of the Sandman, and the Lenore comics are fun. I've also got one called Nightmare and Fairy Tales, which I adore, it's told from this little doll's perspective and it's really quite deliciously creepy. Also, they started turning the first book in a vampire series I read into comics, so I've been collecting those as well. | |

| I started with the ones primarily about Death, because she's just awesome. Then I decided I had to read the rest, in case she showed up. Delirium is so fun, she always makes me smile. | |

I've heard of tank girl but never really looked it up...whats that all about? Lucky. It's about this chick who drives a tank in post-apocalyptic Australia. (I want her outfits.) don't want to give too much away. |

| Tank Girl is saweeeeet. The artwork was drawn by Jamie Hewlett, who also did the artwork for the band Gorillaz. : ) I love Sandman too. Runaways is awesome, and has an awesome art style to go with it.
30 Days of Night is also a good one to check out. The Walking Dead is pretty cool, if you like zombies... I'd also check out Marvel Zombies, because, it just looks awesome, and c'mon zombies!
Oh and Lenore... Lenore.. I don't really know what to say... I used to love it when I was a kid, thought it was SO FUNNY, but now I read it, and... It's just so cheesy mall goth to me...
Nightmares and Fairytales however... I love it. Amazing art and fun takes on classic fairy tales. | |

| I love Y: The Last Man. It's one of my favourite series. And Jayme's right, The Walking Dead is fucking AWESOME. It's so well written and just... guh, it pretty much rules.
Everything else I read is really camp and superhero-y. But, if you're into that, go for Invincible, it's totally rad, and done by the same group who did The Walking Dead. Then there's Battle Pope, if you can find it- you'll probably have to download it (you can get comic book readers- Comical is really good). It's hilarious.
Also under supherheroes is Astonishing X-Men. It's written by Joss Whedon, and is totally the best Marvel stuff ever. EVER.
I loves me some comics. | |
