| ...for a new moisturizer. My skin is pretty crazy, and though I wouldn't call it sensitve, it tends to not like a lot of products. In the past I have used:
Nivea soft creme- I find it too thick. Loreal Happyderm- pleasant enough, but i found it somewhat artifical feeling? Not as light and airy as I would like. SHE hydrating plant lotion (not sure you americans have it)- I got this on discount because it was discountued, and I quite liked it. However, the brand is aimed more towards older skin, and I don't know if it's right for me.
Anyway, I'm after a moisturizer that: a) won't make me break out (Garnier Nutrionist did) b) won't stay on the surface of my skin and feel artifical c) provides SPF of some kind.
While we're at it, a complementing cleanser would be good. Toner's seem to hate my skin (both the Biore and the Nivea one's made my skin break out), so we're set there.
Any ideas would be much appreciated, and sorry if this post is a little nosensical. I have another headache and I'm feeling a little foggy.

| The last time i used Clean and Clear products, I totally broke out, so I'm sorta uneasy about going back to them. | |

| try Neutrogena then. they have great moisturizer, and aren't harsh on the skin. I think the only person that's had trouble with them is Lindsay? but usually its rare for Neutrogena to affect skin - it actually does JUST enough to keep my acne away. | |

for cleanser i use clearasil or clean and clear- both are pretty good but clean and clear tests on animals so i will not be buying their products again |

| Both Clean and Clear and Neutrogena products are too harsh for my skin, even the sensitive skin ones. I get all stingy and have to wash it off so it doesn't burn Obviously I haven't tried all of their products, but both cleansers and moisturisers (toners didn't effect me) I've used from both companies aren't the right thing for me. Um, go to Clinique. You can usually get these bags that have complimenting cleanser, toner and moisturiser for about $25. Just have a sit down with whoever's there in their nice white lab coats and see which one would be right for you. I think there are four different combinations, here, probably the same across the ditch. Yeah, their moisturiser is the best I've found for my skin, it actually gets rid of the insane dry/scaliness I have under my eyes and on my cheeks. Beware, it's super expensive though. If you can, buy it online. It'll be about half the price. | |

| I use Clinique moisturizer and its really nice, not sure if it has an SPF though
As for the 3-step system. Watch out, there are too many horror stories of people being given the wrong strengths and it completely burning/ruining/fucking up their skin.

| Maybe once my doctor starts me on my new acne meds my skin will calm down. Clinque might be an option, I'll have a look what they're like price wise in Australia. | |

| I vote Dove moisturzer. It's super lightweight, has SPF, and smells yummy! I've always really loved the Dove moisturizer...
And, I suggest Lush toner. I really really do. It was like, the godsent facial product for me. SUPER soft skin, now. I swear by it.

| I use Lush's Dream Cream. It says it is a hand and body lotion, for sensitive skin and especially for people suffering with skin rashes and things. That works really well for me, and I've never had problems with it, my skin is in nice condition apart from the odd spot when I get stressed at Uni!
It's quite expensive, around £5-7 but lasts soooo long! |

| CETAPHIL CLEANSER! FTW! Doesn't dry out your skin, and stops any breakouts. And Cetaphil has a good moisturiser too (though, I dont' think it has any SPF factor). But I swear, Jess, if you start using Cetaphil you won't even need moisturiser. My dermo actually told me to stop using moisturiser and start on the Cetaphil, because at our age we don't need moisturiser, and it can just make pimples worse. Although, I use the Cetaphil moisturiser on occasion, and it doesn't make me break out at all. |
