what color dye should i pick up?

Over the past 3 days or so, my friends and I have been bleaching and toning my hair to what is now quite a pale yellow.

My mum is bitching that I look like a freak with my hair and dark eyebrows so i'm going to get my dye tomorrow.

at first I was set on doing it all purple but now i'm having second thoughts.

I was now thinking perhaps an emile autumn-esque red?

Or maybe a nice blue?

I was sooooo tired of my black hair.

I've been looking for a red like that, but I wanted to not have to lighten my hair. If you find any, let me know, yeah? And I think you should go with either red or purple, blue can make people look a bit peaky.

I like the red but I think purple would look better on you, especially if you're going to just have one tone all over.

If you ever have your hair darkish brown, then go for the red, cus I think the red would look really cool as thick streaks in brown hair.

And my mum refused to get me the blue or purple.

It was either red or black.

So I got the red.

There wasn't any swatch, picture or any kind of indication of how it comes out though. The box just says "Intense red" and the sales girl said it'll be like a fire engine OMFG IT BLINDS MY EYES bright red so I bought it.

Woo for red! I think you got the same brand I did, I got the intense dark red, instead of the intense red. The swatch at my store was seriously red, I think you'll be pleased.

Oh, I did it ages ago, didn't come out as bright as I wanted. I'll probably have to lighten, though I know mom will never do it. I can't wait to see how yours comes out!

i like ion , i've used their intense red before with 40 volume so it came out orange, which is what i wanted at the time.but im sure if you use 20-30 volume it will be more red.
I just bought Special Effects in Nuclear Red and im so exited about it.Hopefully i get get it done before a Dresden dolls concert im attending.

When I dyed my hair (last week)
I used a L'oreal permanent dye,
it was pretty red, but not fire red.

I DID IT!!!

And it looks awesuuuuum!!

I look like a cranberry.

And I love it.
