just completed this game and i thought it was pretty good so i thought o'd recomend it to everyone. some of the bits you get stuck on are frustrating but just keep at it and you'll be pleased you had straight away.........
if anyone can recomend anything else similar than i would be really gratful. (sorry for asking for so recomndations) XxX

Well, if you like Yoshi's Island, you'll probably like Kirby's Adventure for the NES, and any Super Mario Brother Game, oh and if you can find it; Twinbee. It's one my favs, but I think it's only in Japanese.
