| Subject: I..have a hair dye question. Mon Nov 12, 2007 7:05 pm | |
| I got all my stuff already, the dye, the developer, pins, bowl, brush.. I just wondered how much developer to mix, how much of the actual dye to use.. I've only ever used applicator bottles on my own, if I had it done with the brush, someone else(ex's mom Amy) did it. Amy knew what she was doing, of course, but I didn't know coz I couldn't watch.
And, I've got a deep red now, and the color I'm going to is 'intense dark red blond.' Will I need to lighten my hair before I use this, or should it give me the brighter red that I want, like the color swatch at the supply store? | |

| Use the same amount of developer as color. At school I would use 2-4 onces of each depending on how much hair. | |

| So. The dye is developing, but I started and then had to wait for my gran to come over to do the back, and the front is way past finished developing. Will it come out brighter or something than the back, or should it be relatively similar? I'm really nervous about this. I should've just waited for her to come do the whole thing. | |
