I've never seen a finer piece of machinery. I've wanted this motorcycle since I was about seven years old.

Well, Grant and I have been invited to an SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) event (historical reenactment, with characters between 600CE and 1600CE).

Anyhow, we need garb, and accessories for feast (they have an actual feast, and you need to bring your own wooden bowl, cup and dagger to eat with). So, I went shopping with the girls today:

From Talize:

Two cherry-stained wooden chalices, 49 cents each:



Small hand drum, $2.99:



Wool shawl, $3.99:



From Bargain Fabric:

Blue linen/cotton fabric, $6.98 a meter:



The chalices will be perfect for feast, the wool shawl great for the chilly night, and the drum just for fun (I may take it, I may not), and the blue linen will be made into a draw string skirt to wear with my bodice.

I used to be in the SCA (still am if you count me going to the events every once in awhile for crafts) and its so much fun! I like the stuff you got for it. Have fun!

I bought all HK stuff today.

a pink thermal with 3/4 sleeves, and she's on the front holding ballons that say HELLO, and on the back, she's winking and holding ballons that say GOODBYE. its so cute.

and then I got 3 pairs of HK boyshorts...yey. n.n

I brought a tenner with me to get Cath a DVD and a DS accessory for her birthday.
I managed to get Edward Scissorhands on sale for £3
and a blue (glow in the dark) DS stylus that looks like a pencil which was sposed to be £3 but came up as 48p at the till

(like that but from Game not NDS)
Unfortunately I owed my dad so I gave him the rest *waa*

I think I'm having a lucky week in terms of buying stuff. At McDs we ordered 2 salads, a Big Mac meal and a diet coke. At the collection point (we were in that weird express line thing) they gave us 2 extra cokes and an extra big mac meal My dad was honest and told the lady but she said to just take it.
Better buy some more stuff before my luck runs out..

I need an earring stand/holder thang. With a jewellery box, I just forget that half of my earrings even exist cus they get all mixed up.
I like these on ebay..


They're super plain but hey, they won't be plain with earrings stuck all over em.

Anyone know where I could get an earring holder in the shops? Other than Claire's (they have gross metal spray painted butterflies )

They'd probably have something like this in the shops..



They also have trees which look cool but I reckon it'd be annoying looking for the pair you want.. I could deal with that for the awesomeness, though.
