I'm not trying to be closed minded, I've done all kinds of crazy make-up but not on myself and not for day wear. I've worked doing make-up and costume for plays and I've done everything from tin men to plant zombies. I just mostly think that anime eye make-up is awful looking and really scary. It just makes them look weird and I think the last girl looks slightly deformed.

...aren't anime character deformed?
I doubt they'd wear it as daywear anyway, i'm sure it's all for cosplay!

I dunno, I don't like anime? No offense. I like totoro and all the ones by that director but that's it. I think it also could be like those final fantasy things. It's cool on the characters, not on real people. I mean, I love the simpsons but I don't wear yellow face paint.

I agree, I don't mind others doing it, people are telling me to "stop hating" or whatever. I just don't like how it looks.

like plats said, to each thier own! what looks hella nifty to one could be grody to others. like...I hate bright colours cos they blind me, but some girls can wear yellow and orange like no one's business, haha.
