| I think this one would work best on you. Plus I just like it best. I'm useless with hair though, puffy or someone will be more helpful than me. |

| shit you'll need:
curling iron, blow dryer hair serum, holding spray, round brush, volumizing mousse, hair spray.
when hair is wet, get some mouse in there and scrunch scrunch scrunch it. that'll help start some curls. add a TEENY amount of serum [you're adding more later!] and massage that in.
blow dry your hair as usual, then add another drop of serum. concentrate on the ends of your hair, and your bangs.
now here's the hard part. do you want loose curls like the second model, or tight and modern like the third?
if you want loose curls, then just take the curling iron, twist a small section of hair in it longways, and hold it for a few seconds. if you want contrasting curls, use a large curling iron and a small one. when your finish curling, tousle the curls, or blow dry to loosen them up a bit. the curls will fall after an hour! and your bangs, use a large iron, and just go right across them to give them a little shape; or just use the round brush and the blow dryer for a fresh looking bang.
if you want the hair of the third model, you'll have to use a curling iron thats about medium sized [you can tell from her curls]. make the curls as TIGHT AS YOU CAN and spritz with a little spray. then continue all over! use the round brush and dryer for your bangs, but not your curls - just tousle them a bit. then just brush your hair up top for that neat then fluffy effect. your hair is a bit short, so it should be perfect, but if the curls fall more than you'd like, you can pin your hair up a bit on the sides to get that poofy, face framing effect.
finish either style with holding spray, then sheen spray.
and you're done! hope I helped!
edit: ohhh I took too long typing this and there were posts! the kristin bell look [the second girl in your post with the brown roots and blond hair] is simple and easy: side bangs and loose curls! easy with a medium curler and holding spray on the bangs, the ashley simpson look I already described, actually; and the woman with the dark hair? blah, her hair is too matronly for the sexy shauna, rawr!

| I sleep in curlers. Honestly, it works amazingly well for me. They're sooo cheap too. If you get like, the foam ones from Walgreens or a little drug store type thing, they're usually only $2 a package. You can choose different sizes too. There's ones made for tiny ringlet curls, ones for normal size, and ones for more of a wavy curl. | |

| Wouldn't it be really uncomfortable to sleep in curlers? |

| not regular curlers - they leave dents in your hair. try velcro. they really work [and stay in]. | |

| Okay, so sometime today I'm gonna try to curl my hair with curling irons. Then tomorrow we're going shopping, so I'll pick up some curlers and see how those work during the week sometime.
Thanks Puffy (and everyone else), you guys ROCK!
I'm a total 'tard when it comes to curling my own hair when it's shorter. Longer is much easier.

| I always use hot rollers. When I use a curling iron it always comes out cruddy. But that might be because I have a cruddy curling iron and I don't know how to use it. |

| np! and you're right, it is hard. if you get pissed with ringlets, you can always curl under in layers for a mod, bob look, which you could just do with curlers anyways - then just blow dry a bit, and you're done! | |

I do that all that time. That's my regular style right now. I need something with a bit of volume because my dress has such a voluminous skirt, that way it'll even out.

| Flat Irons work for curls too. You take a small section of hair, place the flat iron at the top close to the root, twist/rotate the flat iron 360 degrees then glide downwards as usual. P.S if you want the hair in the first picture, you can swap with me for the day | |

| I don't have a straightener. I have a really good, large barrel, ceramic-coated curling iron, though. And sure...let's swap! I'm in the midst of "mousse and curl spray and scrunch", and will be trying to ringlet in a bit when it dries. Too lazy to blow dry at the moment. | |

| This took me about 3 hours....LOL. I'm not good at curling hair, and it took using my large curling iron (which was too big for my length of hair), my small curling iron (which is not heating up enough anymore, so I'll need to invest in a new one), and then finally hot rollers. So, I washed my hair, then put curling mousse and curling spray in it, and scrunched it. Let it air dry for a bit, then dried with a blow dryer and scrunched it. Then I sectioned it (side, middle/back, middle/front, side), and put rollers in (I'm missing some rollers, and also clips to hold them, so it took a bit), after hairspraying each piece of hair individually before wrapping around rollers. After all the hair was curled, parted it on the side, clipped one side with a barrette, and the other with the black rose barrette, tousselled the curls a bit, and hairsprayed. So, I will be practicing this for the next week before the wedding...LOL. Piccies: Front: Sides: Back: I really like it, but Grant is unsure...LOL. He's not used to seeing me with curled hair. I'm also thinking of going a mahogony brown...we'll see. I wish the camera could pick up my makeup, it turned out GREAT from a tutorial on specktra.net. | |

| When I wanna curl my hair, I usually just do pin curls.. that's easiest for me. I sleep in them, and when I wake up, all I have to do is my fringe, spray on some more hairspray and I'm done. Works for me..
PS: I know this isn't of much use for your wedding anymore, but it's just another option anyway. XD
