I'm not a virgin anymore but I'm proud to say I didn't sex until I was 19.
There was no way I was going to be rushed into anything and I'm so happy my first time was with Ben.
We've been together for almost two years and I love him dearly.

I'm not. I had my first time when I was 15 but i wasn't rushed into it and i don't regret it at all [: i like sex. rawr. lol

I am one, and if I met a guy that I was totally comfortable with, then I'm game for some. Haha. I don't personally see it as a big deal though.

i had a very lenient attitude towards sex when i was younger..i was friends with alot of older guys and it meant nothing to them..so the attitude must have rubbed off on me..and while i wasnt exactly desperate to have sex, i figured that if someone i got on well with came along and the oppurtunity presented itself then i'd go for it..cause it wasnt such a big deal, it was a bit of fun, even just between friends. And from the age of 13 i had several steady boyfriends who i probably would have had sex with had they tried (i guess im lucky they were more gentleman than that).

Then at 15 i met a boy who's attitude was no sex without love..and i thought that was silly, it was something we completely disagreed about..long story short, i got hurt in that relationship and as a result i wont have sex with anyone unless im completely in love with them and the relationship is worth any pain i can see coming.

Oh don't get me wrong, I believe love should be present, or at least strong, deep feelings, i just don't agree with the whole marriage thing.

To lose my virginity I'll definately need to feel like I'm in love with him.....
I just have a feeling that a few years down the track when I'm all unvirginful then I won't really care whether I love him or not....

I don't believe in waiting until marriage but I think, for the first time, you should know they guy well and have strong feelings for each other. I think once you're older, if you feel so inclined, you dont have to be "in love" to have sex...

I dunno...I don't actually think it matters at all. So long as you are comfortable and happy, what does it matter? You could be with a guy for years and not feel comfortable enough...or you could have been going out for less than six months and feel completely happy and have it happen in the most wonderful and perfect way.
I think if it fits you and your relationship...then it's good.

I think there's such a big deal about loosing your virginity and sex...it shouldn't be planned out. I think yeh, talk about it, mention it, if you're both comfy, buy some protection and when you're together and it feels right...do it. Obviously you cant do it "whenever" but if it's appropriate...even if there are another 13 people in the house because there's a dinner party going on or whether you are alone.
Noone cares if it goes wrong...just have fun.

x2 i told my friends i didnt think it was such a big deal and they were like OMGD SLUT i was like wtf :[ haha but no im not i lost it at a party to some random guy on accident :[

You girls shouldnt be sad that you are still virgins. I was a vigrin till I was 18. having sex can really do things to your emotions and all that, and it makes me upset when all these 13-15 year olds just give it up to the first guy who flashes them a smile. Your first time is always going to be your first time, so.

You should wait till you're ready and with someone who won't pressure you and who is really serious about you. Cuz what happens if you get preggers and your with some random guy or someone who isnt even serious about you... You'd be royally screwed, thats what.

That's just my opinion however.

I still kinda wish I had waited longer, but there's not much I can do about that now!

*shrug* like i said, i was only 14..i wasnt sad that i was a virgin before hand..it never really crossed my mind, there was no peer pressure (i think i was the first of all my friends), i never gave it up to the "first guy"" and we were together almost 3 years..so as young as i may have been, i dont think i'll ever regret it..

I agree with you too Plats. But when i say i don't think its THAT huge...i mean as in that huge to wait til marriage. I honestly love my boyfriend, and when the time comes (though I don't want that to be too soon...) I won't hesitate. It sorta annoys me how people assume just because I'm only 17 its not real, or it won't last, or I'm just giving it up to the next guy. I mean, once its over, its over. But i also think it's the sharing of something special, and hate how its portrayed as slutty. blah. end rant.
