ok i have wig, dress, wig feathers etc, hoop skirt, blah blah...

what on earth do i do for her makeup?

Last September's issue of Vogue was all about Marie Antoinette... and from what I remember her makeup was very... neutral-y. Like she stuck to pink blush and lipstick and had a very powdery-white face. I don't know about eyeshadow, but I suppose you can get creative there and make it match your costume!

super powdered face, white powder. you could use baby powder, if you liked.

DARK DARK DARK LASHES. lots of volume. be careful, dont want em spidery! think adrianna lima in the lash stylist commercials.

shape your brows, but dont colour them in too much, since yours are naturally bold and dark. ^.^

a berry stained lip!

red or berry blush, just a sheer wash on the cheek and hollows.

taupe eyeshadow. you can define the crease with something a smidgen darker, but thats it!

would she have worn nailpolish? and what does taupe mean o.O

taupe is like a sandy beige colour
you could even use like

a rry sheer shade of pink, that only leaves like, an iridescent shimmer =D

I dont think they had nail polish then...I'd go with a clear or neutral shade though, it would still look nice =D

i've tried baby powder and it failed so any brands that do a white powder?

hm, did you try setting the powder while your foundation was still a bit damp on your face? or just using a moisturizer and quickly applying the powder?

then again, this lady used white wax face makeup with baby powder over it, and...





either way, ben nye has a super white powder for a really good price - and it really is called "super white powder"! =D

and this stuff is called Graftobian Face Powder - I think its clown makeup, but it's what youre lookin for!



both are super cheap, too!

and thats...something of the makeup suggestion I gave you - red cheeks and a berry lip! but you know...more pretty looking. o.o;;

A bright bright orange blush for alexs bowie costume $28!!!!
blue eyeshadow for bowie thing about $15 i think
black eyeliner.. i dunno 10-15 bucks
and my white eyeshadow was around 15 as well

luckily alex is paying me back for his makeup.

i put a little on yesterday and it went kinda shiny and shimmery, how can i make it look less so?

maybe if you buffed it out a bit?
