Make-up brushes Empty
PostSubject: Make-up brushes   Make-up brushes EmptyThu Sep 20, 2007 10:56 am

Ok, so I only have one brush and I hate it. I don't have heaps of money to throw around though. What is the cheapest brush I can get that is still worth buying. I want to get the best value for my money I guess. Also, do I really need loads of different sizes or can I just get one for powder and one for eyeshadow?

Go to an art sotre and buy good quality paintbrushes, preferably soft watercolour ones, they're cheaper and you can buy the precise size/shape you want.

I'd say you could get one for shadow and one for poweder if you werent planning on anything too difficult but if you want to do some more complicated make-up it might be best to get a few (because you get some ruddy messes when you have old shadow on your bursh when your applying a whole new colour).

I pretty much wear simple natural make up. I have paint brushes too but I feel weird using them on my face. I just wanted some real make up brushes.

I also pretty much wear three different shades of eyeshadow and they are all coppery.

haha, don't feel weird. did you know that one designer made his own line of face brushes that are basically paint brushes?

...sounds weird, but you know.

paint brushes are the same thing - you're basically painting your face! Very Happy

yehh, but don't use the brushes you've used for painting, buy new ones!

I personally use bodyshop ones and have never found better.

I have a mini set from Sephora that I adore... that was $35.00.

Sonia Kashuk has nice brushes. Not too expensive either. I believe you can find them at Target.

I agree with Jamie!

I have all the ELF brushes and love them

You can't beat the price with a stick.
