I think I've found it...

I think I may have found my homecoming dress. What do you ladies think?



Sorry if it's completely huge, I was in a rush when I posted this topic.

Would this dress look better paired w/ black fishnets and red high heels (or black?), or white stockings (or fishnets?) and black platform mary janes? I suck at picking accessories. Help?

My hair is going to be in either medium sized spiral curls, or in large sized spiral curls. Probably large ones.

And for my makeup I'm thinking just a simple smokey eye would look good? With falsh lashes and maybbeee red lipstick?

I'm also thinking of getting a fedora hat. :]

And is a fedora like a trilby?

I think black heels would work since that would prolly be too much red...I sorta had the same prob with my homecoming outfit, wondering which shoes would work with my dress.

I'd skip the red lippy, since...that dress is hot enough! the smoky eye, I think, would look really nice.

I'm not quite sure how stockings or fishnets would look with that dress though, because it reminds me of a simple, elegant dress! haha. maybe Im just dull as a board.

though I love the idea of loose curls. if you got lazy and wanted something less "sexy-casual-I-look-totally-hot-tonight-and-you-know-that-you-want-mee,"
then you can just curl your hair loosely,
and pull it back in an elegant messy sweep for the same "god-I'd-totally-do-her" look thats more refined! =D

id say black heels and fishnets because if the red didnt go well, it'd look wierd and it would be lots of red like puffy said.

i also agree red lippy might to too red but smokey eyes would be hotness.

I hate the sparkly bit as well, I'm hoping it's just a pin (most of those things are) and I can just take it off. If not, it's probably just sewn on and I can take the stitching out.

Ahh so that's two votes for red heels, and two for black heels. Eeep. But black fishnets seem to be the popular vote, so I'll do those.

Yeah, I don't look too smashing in red lipstick anyway. Would a nude color work better? Or maybe just lipgloss?

Black heels and those white fishnets (not bright white, the ones you barely see) would look awesome. I find it too elegant for black fishnets.

i think maybe just a clearish lipgloss so your lips arent nekkid.

and red heels might be ok if you had black tights on because it would break it up but i think it has to match, like not exactly but the red needs to go and it might be hard to match it. but black would just be hot. like black patent heels. yum yum.

hm, try a peachy pink lip colour - its what Im goin for, haha. I think my mum took my benefit gloss so I have to look for it in her room...but it would be a great colour for your lips, cos its nude, but you get the subtle hint of pink, which is kinda shexxii.

and yay! I thought the swept up hair would look nice on you since your hair is a bit long anyways. I know there's pics on WLB I could show you, I'll find one and link you. :]

and I know Keeks suggested to Puffy I think that she paint the soles of the shoes red, like Christian Laboutin's, you could do that, so uoi'd have black heels, with a flash of sexy (and VERY expensive looking) red on your tootsies.

But with a black trilby, red feather, sexy tousled curls falling out of an off-centre fedora, gorgeous smokey eyes, fishnets, that dress, and a bit of cleavage, your going to knock eveyone dead!!

I don't think platforms would suit at all. I'm in love with peep toe shoes. Get a bare of them and go bare legged

Fishnets would look awesome, and I don't think any kind of chunky shoes would look very good.
If you did black shoes though with the fishnets you should keep your bangs down (not pinned off your face) and black eyes, cause then you'll totally have that cool 80s vibe going on.

Question- wtf is homecoming? I never had one. Everyone keeps talking about them.

...its the first real dance of the school year that all the classes can go to. where you just dress up and have fun. its basically for football, but its something for everyone to enjoy.

I'm not a fan of fishnets, so I'm thinking plain black tights with red pumps - cos the black will break it up, and if you had patent leather pumps... HOT!
Orrrrrrr I reckon bare legged with black patent leather pumps. That would be equally hot. Actually, I reckon the second one would be better, cos your dress is so... like... WOAH!

ACK! Thank you for that link! MJs have been my "signature" shoe for over a decade....and now I'm in HEAVEN!

(and grrrr...my 'tarded roommie is trying to make MJs HER signature shoe now, too).

I'd wear it with gold shoes, probably something strappy or regular black pumps. I think it would look best with bare legs but tights are ok too. I really don't like fishnets and I think they would make it too costumie.

I hate fedoras a lot, especially with fancy dresses. It wouldn't look bad per say I just really don't like them.
