| My cosmo class always does a float for our city's Founder's Day Parade and this year our theme is Texas Big Hair. Think Dolly Parton(oh yes :p) So basically I want to know how y'all picture like southern women in beauty shops, or waitressing at diners. You know like obnoxious fake nails and smackin their gum. Mostly the make-up but the hair clothes etc. etc. are good too. |

| ahahah well you GOTTTTTA have to cotton candy hair, usually in jet black, blonde, or a strange orange red then long nails in any colour except blue, unless its midnight blue - hicks dont like blue too much cept for eyeshadow, which leads me to heavyyyyyyyy eye makeup. one bright ass colour, usually light blue, or even red or orange, with an ungodly amount of black eyeliner on the upper/lower lash line bright pink or red blush, maybe brown to look "tan" XD and then of course, either pink or red lipstick to top it all off! oh, and your outfit isnt complete without old flip flops, platform or flat! buaahahahah! | |

| I remember she had bright red lip stick and blue eyeshadow and Tammy Faye-ish mascara. She was dressed kind of like Peggy Bundy from Married With Children! | |

| and thats from experience! one lady at my junior high, bless her soul; she was the sweetest; but she wore blue eyeshadow, heavy liner, falsies [her lashes were always nice], and red lipstick with pink blush! she had black foofy hair a bit past her shoulders, and dressed up in one of those long overall dress things with sweaters underneath oh, and her foundation was a shade too dark..oh, the memories! ahhhhh western? blah. ...at least the plaid sounds nice | |

| See, I imagine them with kind of wild Cher looking hair (like dyed deep purple and curly, and basically just wiggy looking) and make-up, and then like a pale pink shirt dress with a white pinny ha ha. like she's working in a diner! ha ha. nice and cheap looking. with long naaaasty french tips with diamante studs on them. lol. and like foundation jaw lines... okay. that's not good ha ha ha. But I like the Daisy Duke idea!! that would be sexxyy. EDIT dress like this Or maybe like in 'Slap Her She's French' ha ha i love that film... yehhh! | |

| I see orangey hair with a BIG blonde stripe in it (not good lookin' high lights) through the middle. Basically Peggy Bundy hair style. Blue eyeshadow (like your Malibu Barbie stuff!), lots and lots of mascara like everyone's said- all spidery like, heaps of eyeliner... And then baby pink lips with purple lip liner. LOLZ. That would be awesome. Then I see like leopard print top with shiny spandex tights, like full length ones. Maybe some with the elastic band on the bottom if they're even still made. And big red heels. I saw a woman like that once, and whaddaya know, she was from the South. There was a big group of rugged old Maori guys around her (it was in a pub, naturally). Or you could go in a waitress uniform like the one Hana posted. With big, ridiculous heels. Ohhh, yes. It's gonna be so much fun for you | |

| that's pretty much what i was thinking for the hair!
curling and teasing my bangs then like teasing the top to hell and back then to hell again then putting the bottom in pigtails and curling and teasing it, then wearing a tiny cowboy hat on the side to kind of emphasize the bigness ahaha
then i have a denim mini skirt and i'm going to wear tan hose, with huge slouchy legwarmers and silver cowboy boots
i'm not sure on the top though...i went to the western store and they had some really cute/gawdy cowgirl shirts maybey like a white or pink undershirt with a plaid rhinestone shirt tied at my boobs to make them look...uh...more?
i'll be like 80s western glam! i'm getting the blue eyeshadow and overdone eyelashes/liner but should i do pink lips with red blush or vice versa |

| On your eyelashes, you should wear really over the top false eyelashes and put tons of volumising mascara on them, and then get a pair of tweezers and clump sections of eyelashes together while the mascara is still wet so they look clumpy. |

| ^ That's a good idea.
LULZ to your picture, Brenda. Ahahaha. The poor kid.
I think pink lips with really red blush, Tiinia. Red blush against blue eyeshadow is scary, which is why you should do it. | |
