I'm really sick of my hair plus I'm getting a new job, working in a hotel lobby and I want my hair to look nicer since I have to look nicer. Here are a few pictures of the general style I think I want. I am just really stupid when it comes to hair and have no idea where to start.

serum, to lock in moisture and to keep bangs straight,
and holding spay, to keep the curls.

just blow dry it with some serum already in your hair, and then, when its dry and such, add just a little more and brush it, then use a sorta medium curling iron, and after each curl, spritz it with a little spray. then when youre done, tousel them a little, and you should be set!

thats basically what I did when I had extensions, but since I didnt have any serum, I just used sheen spray. but sheen spray will only make your hair greasy looking, so dont use that!

hope that helped! :]

That helped so much. Honestly, I have no knowledge or creativity when it comes to hair, so instructions like that are perfect.

Also, are there any serums you recommend?

glad I helped!

it helps if youre hair is wet when you blow dry it. when youre done, just rub a little more serum in your hands, and rub your hands from the top of your head down through your hair. this way your hair will be protected from that extra heat from the curling iron!

and John Frieda is the one I always reccomend, because its a good brand! its 9 dollars at walgreens, but you can prolly find a cheaper one thats still pretty good. Im ordering a serum from my mark catalog since its only five!

I'll look into John Frieda, nine dollars isn't bad. Bed head is much more expensive and I've been known to buy that.

Mine came with my CHI straightner for free.
And when I run out, I get it at a discount for 8 bucks.

i just got bangs, and i found that if you get the herbal essences dangerously straight finishing spray while you're straightening them, it will keep them in place really well. you might want to comb them after you do it, because the spray will feel sort of sticky until it really dries.
