CanCan girl for senior prom

So for my senior prom/formal whatever you wanna call it, I want to go for a late 1800s Victorian era CanCan girl thing.
Think saloon girls, Moulin Rouge, corsets, bustles, ruffled bloomers, stripey stockings.
What I need help with is finding good pictures for reference(I suck with search engines).

I want the pattern and style to be period correct but I also want it to be kind of edgy modern and of coarse not excruciating to dance in.

So any pics y'all can find of different style gowns, accessories, jewelry, make-up etc. I'd really appreciate.

My niece was actually a can-can dancer for years, and they had AWESOME costumes!

here's the best example I've found of what I want...of coarse a corset would replace the bodice...but aren'tthose stocking awesome!!!

Oh man, I did something like that last pic for my first Ball in fifth form/...year... 11. It was hot, but my top didn't look that good.

i like it alot to but i was thinking of using tool for lace to make it more edgy
i think red and black would look really cool but i want to do colors that are less cliche(like the pink and blue) but i don't know which colors

i was thinking purple and coral or purple and mustard yellow
but those may be too much

or gold and purple...i don't want to be too outlandish and look like a fool,
but then again we did have a senior come to prom dressed as George Washington,wig, stocking, shoes, the whole shabang, he pulled it off nicely,
then we had some juniors show up in matching mini skirt, mock corseted duct tape dresses and feathers aranged like mohawks...and that was awful

i was seriously offended!!!
