| meep!
hm, neutrogena has good sunblocks. try them!
and use a skin creme on it so maybe it would hurt as much...and wear sunscreen everytime you go out, and re-apply it every 30 min to an hour! :]

| calamine lotion. seriously. i got sunburnt on holiday: my ears, a bit patch on my forehead, just at my hairline, my nose and my upper lip, as well as the same area as you. yeh it was kind of cloudy and i forgot my face and fell asleep on my side with my hair tied up. then i kept brushing it and burning it with straighteners >.< do not let your ears burn...its so bad! and your moustache area. was ouchee. but fun when it peeled!
and my uncle's sister gave my calamine lotion and it was soooo good. my ear was like on fire but it calmed down soon after i put it on. well it wasnt actually lotion...it was like calamine and glycerin or something and was like a hard, thick cream. it was sore to rub on (i dabbed it and it was good) but its meant for sunburn or windburn and stuff.

| I had 2nd degree sunburns like super bad and complete nasty blistering last summer, and a hugge suggestion always for sunburns is ALOE VERA cause it cools the skin off. Also what I used to help heal the burning was Solarcaine relief spray which is a light mist spray that like extracts the burning stuff from the skin...
DO NOT USE ANY LOTIONS!! They TRAP HEAT! BAD BAD BAD! |

| oh noes!
well
next time, try neutrogena's spray on cooling sunblock - cools the current sunburn and keeps it from getting worse! and you wont have to rub it in and cause more pain!

| I always use the Cancer Council sunscreen - but I think that's Aussie? It doesn't really matter what brand, as long as it's at least SPF 30. The only thing about the brand is say the consistency of the sunscreen. Personally, I like 'em thick As for the sunburn, when I got burnt last summer, I got this cream from The Body Shop, and it's an aloe vera one. Brittni's 100% right. Aloe Vera does wonders, cools and heals the skin. SO GO BUY SOME ALOE VERA CREAM PRONTO! |

| I have the Banana Boat spf 50 and I loooove that stuff. mine isn't the baby kind though It feels just like every other sunscreen I've used, so I wouldn't say it's thick. | |

| it has been said before, but ALOE is the best thing ever for sunburn (and cheapo, if you have a GNC near you...it's only 99 cent) if you put it on like every hour or so, it should get better quickly |

| Cool baths with epsom salts, and coat yourself with Aloe (refrigerate it for extra cooling).
I also use Banana Boat SPF 50, but the spray-on stuff. I love it!
