Rag Curlers

I really want to have some nice curls in my hair, without having something like a perm. I'm too broke to buy any curlers & I've tried plaiting my hair when it's wet but it comes out crimped, not in corkscrew curls. So I want to try using rags to curl my hair but all the instructions I can find are REALLY confusing. Does anyone know how to do this or know any tutorials with images?

I use bendy rollers which give the same effect as rag rollers on my extensions! and they look so cute! I hope it turns out ok! Just make sure you use quite small bits of hair otherwise it looks like an afro lol
