can you help me find...

I'm thinking about making a case for my ds lite, so that i can keep it in my bag without getting it scratched up.
and maybe keep other little bits in it.
im a noob at sewing still...

does anyone have a tutorial for something that might work? i want it quite fitted around the ds, not just like a little bag. I'm kind of thinking of doing a fitted shape around it and then having like a fold over flap with velcro to keep it shut.
i have some spare material, some bright felt and some stiffener stuff i can use.

im gonna fiddle with some paper and see if i can make a sort of pattern and have a look at some websites but i have already looked and cant really find anything!
maybe if someone that can make patterns or something could draw me one? if you loved me enough just on paint like the rough shape i should use...well obviously same as ds but im not sure about leaving gaps and where and if i should do one piece of 2 or all the sides seperate...

help?

Have a look at these, they are for IPods, but I think you can alter it for the Ds... plus, no sewing involved ^^

hmmm except i dont have white felt...just pink and green so i might have a pink monster with yicky green teeth and find some white material to use as eyes.

or maybe not...ill just stick a monster on to guard it.

i broke the last needle i had for my sewing machine >.<

i found some stiffener stuff i had left over from my bag so i started making like a box type thing for my ds but then broke the needle :[ and i bought some white felt and purple to make the monster one but i cant now!
waaaah. the sewing machine was given to me by my aunt when i borrowed it for my bag so i dont have lots of spare needles or anything.

grrr.
