| ok...we have about 45 new members from June alone who have not posted.
do you guys have any ideas that we could do to encourage people to post?
i mean i guess that the account removal after 1 month is one thing but ive had emails demanding to know why they were removed...which is annoying because people should read these things.
i could send out another of those newsletter emails...do you think that might work? did anyone recieve my last one and was encouraged to post because of it? feedback on that?
also, does anyone have an email address that they arent registered with and would volunteer to do me a favour? i set up so that when you join up, you get a private message from me welcoming you and saying basically that we dont bite and encouarging a post in intros to break the ice. could someone register with another email and tell me if it works?
pleeeease tell me any ideas because its soooo frustrating when people join up but then dont post. i mean i get "oh xenia posted about a new forum!" but dont go and register if you arent gonna be active!
bleh...suggestions please? what made YOU post if you werent an oldie like polly and jade and stuff?

| I'll sign up with a different email in a bit, and I'll let you know what the name is and you can delete it after I've discovered if the email gets there or not. Deal? | |

| Beatcha, Puffy! Kiki, I signed up as 'SneakyShadows,' and I got an email saying 'this here's your user name and password.' I'll edit this when/if I get the welcome email.
Edit: Ok, I totally would've missed that. Is there a way of making it an email instead of a personal message? I didn't get a notification for the pm like normal, and I was sitting here watching my email box waiting for a bit and was like, 'why's it taking so long?' They might just not be seeing it, I didn't get the pop-up notification or anything, and maybe after they sign up they close the window or activate the account and just go read, but don't notice the pm..
