Oh I saw Ill Scarlett last year for a short performance at a local TV station

they were great and super friendly and signed our posters and took pictures Very Happy

oh i never told you guys about the shows did i?

ok well MSI was crazy. The performance was amazing and the crowd rocked so the whole show was amazing. the moshing was very good, i was pleased. it was one of the greatest shows i've even been to, so so so good!
Opening bands: Hollowboy & Velvet Code: Velvet code sucked, hollowboy were good.

Underoath.. I missed most of it because I got an emergency phone call from a friend and it was way more important but they were great. The moshing sucked because its a tricky rhythm but ah well i just stood in the back and enjoyed the music
Opening Bands: Norma Jean and some other shitty band. Didn't like any of them. Norma Jean is just noise..

Katy Perry: I don't care what anyone says, she was amazing live. Ya she sucks on TV but so does FOB and no one says anything so shutup. She was really cute and funny and the set was all like inflatable fruits and there was a giant kitty in the back which she calls "Kitty Purry" and it was a lot of fun, she has a lot of energy. She was so sweet, she said she never played a show to such a big crowd.
Opening band: The Daylights: Very good. Very good-looking too.

I love how bands always mention that they love coming to play here because of the passion montrealers have for art & music.

BUT NEXT MONTH:

I am seeing The Decemberists in Milwaukee
and THEN two days later I am going to Chicago
and seeing GOGOL BORDELLO AND MAN MAN.

I am going to go all... gypsy punkified.
It'll be sweet as hell.
