im going to go make a post asking for cruelty free shampoo. Apparently Maybelline (a subsidiary of L'Oreal) sent PETA a letter telling them that they don't test their products or ingredients on animals. Also, L'Oreal has cut their animal testing to only 80% of their products. Linkie.

which foundation works better for oily skin? liquid one, right? I have REALLY oily skin, and use Maybelline's Mousse foundation with a brushing of powder on top. It lasts for a while for me, with no touch up (about 5-6 hours). After that, I need to powder again.

MY FAVE MASCARA IS COVERGIRL! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I'm sure that I heard years ago (like, when I was in my first year of college) that Covergirl stopped testing on animals. But now I can't find any evidence of that. Weird.

| Luckily I don't really buy any of the brands on the tested list, except I do love Maybelline mascaras. Now I want to find one I love that isn't on that list. | |

A beautician told me mousses doesn't work for oily skins 'cause they block the pores but pores need to breathe. And that's why she recommended liquid foundation fuck maybelline!! my favourite mascara is mayballineee I used to think that everythig was tasted on animals now.. i don't know what to think, but i eat meat if i want to protest in favor of animals, i should stop eating meat I really don't know...

| I don't know if liquid blocks pores any less than mousse does. I've found I have less break outs with the mousse than any liquids I've used. Anyone else know anything about this? Just seems like an odd thing for a beautician to say.
As for animal rights, I'm against PETA because they are hypocrites who kill domestic animals, use animal derived insulin, among other things. So anything they say or claim I take with a grain of salt.
I honour the animals who give their life so I may live mine.

| I find mousse foundation really dries my skin out. And youse can all hate me for saying this but oh well, Im not really an animal person anyway so i couldnt care less if it was tested on animals. |

| ooh, a beauty tip: get some rice, some almonds and some rock salt! grind it up fairly find but so its still a little chun and then put it into an airtight jar. use a little handful when you want to exfoliate (BUT DON'T EVER USE IT ON YOUR FACE), just rub it allover your legs/arms/wherever,(while its wet) and let it sit for a bit. rinse off and greet your new, softened skin also, i forget which brand it is but they sell this exfoliator for like $70, and all it is is ground up japanese beans. Wait.. did someone already say that here? whatever it's still cool. |

| -I use olive oil in my dry hair and leave it all night, and the next day....wash your hair as always and your hair will be shiny and repaired =)
- Mix honey with some lemon drops and put it in your face for 20 minutes, this will make your skin very smooth and clear.
oh and that toothpaste cure for zits, really works! |

| When you don't have time to wash your hair use babypowder. Put a bit(just a bit) on your hair(maybe with a comb) then bring it in form(like you do it when you washed your hair). | |

| This is probably old news to everyone, but I was playing with some crappyish liquid liners I never use (from here http://www.splashcosmetics.co.uk/) and I have this redish brown one and I tried it with a shadow that tends to show up dullish on me and it was like WOAH awesome. And the liner gave it a redish undertone and seriously...I'm in love. | |

| You can get them at Groove for like $5 bucks. I'm so buying a neutral colour one now. It seems I've finally found a decent base that makes my colours pop! | |
