| Okay about a week ago I dyed my hurr brown but because I did it over green it looks funny, kinda greyish and I want to go over it with a light auburn to neutralize the green and lighten the brown so my question is how long should I wait to do that? |

| I'd wait a week to let your hair rest. Use a deep conditioner...Nutrogena's Deep Clean...GAH, I swear by it. and then dye over it. You could strip the colour out, or bleach over it and then dye it, but then you'd run out of conditioner. But hell, you know what youre doin, just wait a week. | |

| nooo problem, hun. I perm my hair once a month, so if I perm it, I wait that long to dye it. it might as well be the same for bleachin and all that jazzarooo. | |

| I used a John Fridea (ya know the fizz ease guy) hot oil treatment on my hair and this "deep nourishing" conditioner after i fucked mine up with bleach. I certainly have less hair now, but what i've got left is silky smooth | |

| Thanks for the suggestions my ladies. My hair is definitely fried from bleaching it way too many times in between coloring it. So yeah any more suggestions you have for repairing are definitely welcome. I tried some henna & placenta crap and it did nothing for my hair. |

| Try any of the deep conditioners in the black hair care product area of a drugstore or hair store. I used one (I can't remember the name of it, but it was orange and came in a tub) after bleaching the shit out of my hair, and it made it soft and healthy again. I think it might have been called Kolesterol or something. | |

| Yes use stuff made for thick hair, and leave it on for a long time. Glob a load on and put your hair in a towel and just leave it on for ages. | |

| There are these packets you can get at the drug store called Henna n Placenta, and they are REALLY good for your hair and only like 2 bucks.
I dyed my hair over the weekend, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea at all to add hair dye to my shampoo. Would that keep the color in better....or is that just a bad idea entirely? | |

| I've tried the henna & placenta packets and it didn't do crap for my hair. I think I'm going to try a protein filler and see how that works.
Anyway I've heard about adding semi-permanent dye to conditioner but not shampoo. Oh another useful tip is if you can find it use a sulfate free shampoo & conditioner b/c that stuff really sucks out color. |
