| do you have anything in mind that you are thinking? what sort of music are you into? would it be maybe something a little similar to evanescence with the rockyness but still with a bit of...stuff! its such a broad thing you've put up there...some stuff you like would maybe help me to think. hmmm maybe Queen? they're kinda rock but pop and you could have some movement and show off your classicalness a bit. just be yourself. and show a bit of your personality in the song. and have fun! if you're not enjoying it then it will suck. but dont just be a clone of singers...be youoooooo! | |

| I looked up similar artists to Evanescence on lastfm. I've avoiding ones I dont think would work...like I cant imagine you singing the Offspring...so ones that may work. Linkin Park (im not feeling it...) Avril Lavigne (spose one of her ballads might be...acceptable) Nightwish Dido (she's ok) Pink Tatu (ye know those crazy russian lesbians) Christina Aguilera No Doubt Alanis Morissette (coooould be good) Aerosmith U2 Goo Goo Dolls (ooooh ) Michelle Branch I dunno what you think of any of those...they're just from "similar" to evanescence on lastfm... | |

| I can't think of a particular song but you should do one of those songs where the beginning is less amazing then it just shoots into the chorus and sounds WOW. Ya know? That'd get the crowd going.
I'm gunna flip through my mp3 and see if I have anything, but a lot of the stuff I listen to has quite low parts..

haven't heard much goo goo dolls or aerosmith but they sound like they cud be interesting. but if they're too ballad-y they cud get boring maybe =/
wat du u think? Aerosmith....Jaded isnt too fast and rocky but its pretty cool. And the goo goo dolls...idk the main songs i like arent ballads...but they arent fast and rocky really...in between. Have a listen to some of their stuff, just youtube them...like Black Balloon, Iris...Slide...I love all of the Dizzy up the Girl Album!
