| that consumed the last three weeks of my life! inspired by this one  my rendering(shitty scan, and shitty photobucket edit job....sorry)  pattern drafting! from this big  to this big!  materials!  there is a trim missing in this one....but you'll see it in a bit! fitted mock up   from that to this  pretty stoked!  uh...after the first week and a few days i was here  then here  that grey fabric frayed like a bitch!!! i looked like i was attack by fuzzy grey kittens it was horrible then i got here  note- that ruching gathering...whatever you want to call it was done by hand! gaaaaaah! whilst i was doing that i likened it to the lining of a casket... then the trim desicion this?  or this?  hmmm.....this one  yup.. then came the velvet ribbon around the skirt...about 4.5 hours of hand sewing later i was done...and looked like so(ignore the fact that it is pinned on in this picture...)  aaaaaand finally!::drumroll:: professional pictures weeeee   smiling is obviously not my forte wut...the sun was in my eyes..... but there she is in all her glory...oh the exhausting glory.... for moar pictures go here:http://jpfaces.zenfolio.com/p362207245 whew....i told you there would be lots of pictures... its not totally done... a few snaps and noodling over whether i want to sew on the appliques that i got... but thats what owned my life for three weeks... and i love it

| thanks everyone!!! im glad that it turned out how i imagined...the fact that it is now a garment and not just a rendering still weird and i cant quite wrap my head around that... but i love it and want to wear it all the time!!!!
