| New pictures: I tried to make random parts wispy, but it looks like it's all rows of turned up hair in the pictures. Silly lack of depth in my camera... The stylist said I look more my age, now, that I was looking older with my longer hair. Whatcha think, girls? - Spoiler:
It never fails.. Every winter, my hair decides to hate me and dries out no matter how hard I try to take care of it, and I've got split ends like you wouldn't believe. Once I get the phones turned back on, I'll be able to hit a salon, and I'll have them give me a trim to fix the problem. From what I can tell, I'll probably lose about three inches, maybe more. My sister thinks that Ashley Greene's look in the Twilight movie(it's taking over EVERYTHING....) would look great on me, and made some snarky comment about how it's a good thing I look good with short hair(she doesn't so much. Katie, not Ashley.) Here are the pictures she sent me: Would these look ok on me, d'you suppose? I'd far rather the first, since I'm trying to grow my hair out, but the second is as short as I will go, damaged or not. My hair is curly, but I can straighten it, and I make an effort to use a heat protector every time I blow dry or straighten.

| I think you could pull it off, Lisbeth. But when your hair curls up, do you think it would look okay if you used some curly hair products to enhance them a bit? I know straightening your hair every day can become a hassle. | |

| yeah, what sarah said. i have curly/wavy hair when i dont straighten it, and while i love my pixie cut, it is a pain to have to style/hide every day! but yeah, i think you could totally rock the first one | |

| try bumble and bumble's deeep hair masque. i know i've probably sang its praises before, but really, it keeps my chemically abused hair really nice. people never guess that its been dyed to high heaven and then japanese straightened!
trimming off those ends will help, but i definitely recommend the leave-in conditioner/masque |

| As far as my curls, yes, I've got products I use to enhance them and keep frizz to a minimum. I've used it before when my hair was short, and it did the trick. I'll be off to the salon in the morning with as many views of the first picture as I can find, and scare the living daylights out of everyone at work tomorrow night. Hana, thanks for the Bumble and Bumble suggestion, I'll try and hunt some down this weekend. | |

| I think either would look good on you, you have that face shape that would look good with most hairstyles. And I think it would actually look cute when you don't straighten it too. | |

| Tis done! The damage was a little higher than I feared, but not quite as bad. I'll get pictures in a bit, I want to make the layers a bit more flippy than she straightened them. | |

| Really cute! Don't know if you've tried this or not, but a straightening iron is really good for doing little flippy peices. | |

| I feel awesome! Everyone at work that was there and saw me this morning picking my check up went, 'wait, was your hair like that this morning?? I didn't think so!' Jessie, yes, I got the flippy bits by using my little straightener on a really low heat. Works great. | |

| Yes, Lil, you were absolutely right. It looks too cool, I can't believe a Super Cuts has someone as good as that stylist was! Now I just have to get a baseball cap, hmm? | |
