| Sooooo mine came today. They DEFINITELY don't look as bright as they do in her tutorials and whatnot. You pretty much HAVE to apply them wet in order to get them to really really show up. I'm not really thrilled with how they blend either. I guess my review of them is that they are pretty cool, definitely not crap...but not 12 dollars each cool, especially considering how small the jar is. MAC and Makeup forever are around the same price, but I think they are better pigmented and you totally get a lot more.
Bleh...I had such high hopes.

| WELL, so much for that! Damn, you should prolly try a white base underneath to see if it helps [I like to use UDPP, then a cheap .99 cent pencil all over the lid]. Sucks that the shadows = lame...maybe the blushes would be better? :\ | |

| Don't get me wrong...they aren't crappy. The colors are nice...just not as bright as expected. And I feel like for the price and how much pigment you get its nothing to go crazy over.
Has anyone else noticed that Empress (the purple) looks different in a lot of Xenia's tuts when she uses it? Sometimes its this deep royal purple and other times its more light and violet. The last tutorial she did I think is probably the most accurate of what the color shows up as.
I'll post a pic of how it looks later today.

| Alright I got mine though the post today! Wanna hear what I thought?? Yeah I thought so Ok well firstly when I got them though I was like....aw these are kinda small. They're just a bit bigger than barry m dazzle dusts. Also I noticed what Leesha said in her review about the spillages, some of the powder was like a little spilled out around the sides. I got Circus Girl, Cleopatra, Pompador and Lime Criminal and I gotta admit colourwise it does exactly what it says on the tin. I was super happy with the way they looked, and as I'm sure you've already heard, the colour pay off was fantastic. All over UPP Circus girl and Cleo. Overall the shadows themselves (in my opinion) are fantastic, and although they come in small pots, a little goes a long way. My only regret is that I can't afford more! If you can afford it however I would definately recommend trying them. They're totally worth the money. | |

| I got pompador. It's so pretty!
And like you said puffy, it's more the size and packaging that are the problem, the shadows themselves are top notch I just wish I got a little more for my money ya kno?
