The Spirit doesn't look bad, the girls look really hot in the trailer and it's got Frank Miller's style all over it. AND Sammy L! HOLLAA!
Oh and yeah, the Watchmen trailer came with TDK, and it was perdy sweeeeeet.
Oh and, I've never read either comics,
but I've watched this comic book thing on the History Channel...

| That so rules Kiki. For the next fashion show we have an 'Open' section where we can do whatever we want on whoever we want make-up wise, I've soo thought about just painting Rorschach (as in, his mask will be make up) or maybe Dr Manhattan, think that one will take a bit too long though. Two days woop! The chicks in The Spirit ARE hot Jaime. Dayumn. I think you'll like Silk Spectre I from Watchmen when it comes out, same look. Hot stuff. Haha. Frank Miller is a little bit overrated tbh... he's okay, but his stuff is all so similar. It's like, come on man, do something else. It's always super tough guys, which gets old if you read a lot of comics. And damnit, his stuff is everywhere. I did like The Dark Knight Returns, though, because at like 65 Bruce Wayne was still kickin' ass... Alan Moore is way better *cough*, although also a dick. Okay, back to movies  | |

| i went to see a brit film called Donkey Punch. if you know what that name is, YES IT'S INCLUDED IN IT! I LOLED SO HARD! mature content under the spoiler: - Spoiler:
donkey punching is when your guy is having sex with you from behind and right before he cums, he punches you on the back of the neck causing involuntary muscle spasms in your bum and hence making his orgasm better.
and spoiler of the plot as its not a big movie, it was part of the Edinburgh film festival- - Spoiler:
3 girls meet 4 guys while on holiday in spain and they go off on this yacht that the guys are crew on. they take a lot of drugs and get drunk (except the one sensible one). the other 2 girls go off with 3 of the guys, start having sex while one films. they swap and one of the guys is doing her from behind. he donkey punches her, breaks her neck and kills her. everyone goes mad. they decide to go out to International Waters and dump her body. the girls obviously disagree...one of the guys comes onto the girls when trying to calm them and she stabs him in the top of the chest with a swiss army knife. he has the tape of the guy killing the first girl so the guy tortures him to find the tape, but the girl gets it first. stabbed guy ends up dead. the girls try to escape on a lift raft but she stupidly sets of a flare and the guys come to get them. one of them has a gun so they shoot him with a flare and it's all in his stomach and going off and yick. so then there's the good guy, the good girl, the guy who killed the first girl and then the other girl. other girl gets a gun and threatens bad guy. he hits her and gets the gun. good guy gets the gun off him but girl sees and thinks he's gonna shoot good girl. she runs at him and attacks him with a running propeller. She then realises what she did an commits suicide. Good girl gets on a raft with the last guy. He gets out a knife and threatens her for the video tape of him killing the girl. She manages to get the rope from the yacht around his neck and he dies, leaving her alone in the ocean.
was quite a good movie actually! | |

| Any one who can actually act? LOL oh snap. She was really just a plot device, I didn't think Maggies acting took away from the movie... She wasn't as good as every one else, but I wasn't cringing when she came on like I was with Katie.
There are very few female actors I actually like, so I'll say Natalie Portman- brunette, looks enough like Katie that it wouldn't have fucked up continuity. | |

| i went to see angus thongs and perfect snogging with 2 20-something males  i made them ask for the tickets at the desk and it was like: "can we go and see the film please...?" "sorry what film is it?" "the angus...thongs...one..." "sorry can you repeat that and tell me the full title please?" | Saw Mamma Mia. It was literally the gayest movie I've ever seen. But still made me crack up at how dumb it was. Some of the characters were brilliant, especially Meryl. She pretty much saved the movie. | |

Katie is more "Girl next door" whereas Maggie is better suited to your more obsure indie roles. The Dark Knight was awesome tho. I was really really impressed with Aaron Eckhart who played Harvey Dent. He should have got more recognition!! | |
